Hi friends,
Currently Bangalore placed 5th on the points table with Punjab on 8th.Don't consider their positions,its just the points.Bangalore have 9 points while Punjab have 8 points.So both teams will clash for a chance in the semis.Bangalore look favorites for this game as they have defeated Punjab in their previous encounter.Remember,Bangalore were defeated in their last game.
Punjab will be looking to take revenge on Bangalore.So friends,what is your prediction for this clash of the playoffs?

Bangalore is a very good team, but they are struggling to create a place for Muralidharan and because of this they are not able to find perfect bowling balance. They look like depending on Chris Gayle too much now. They have stars like KOhli, A.B Diviliers etc, but still when it matters most Gayle has to fire for them. On the other hand, Punjab without even having Gilchrist in their side for few matches were able to win a couple of games which is a very positive sign for them and now that Gilchrist has also come back into the side making himself available, their batting strength looks very strong. Overall, though Bangalore looks strong on paper, match is very interesting for sure as Punjab have their confidence back now

I agree with you.Bangalore are not good in their bowling.They struggle like the Chennai Super Kings who looks like a very good team but not consistent in their performances.Bangalore need to get their composition right by getting back Murali into the team.Vettori,Murali,Villiers and Gayle should be the 4 foreigners playing in today's match.Dilshan seemed to have lost his touch.Punjab have confidence and strength to win today's match.Yes,Bangalore are depending too much on their overseas batsmen.Punjab might win against the odds in Today's game.

I think as a team Kings XI is playing better at this moment than RCB. But RCB has the raw Gayle power. On his day, Gayle can destroy any team on his own making the rest of the team irrelevant. So I expect that today anything can happen. Something tells me that RCB will win this match.

Hi Ram,
I certainly agree with you,my friend.Kings XI seem to be a better team in co-ordination when compared to Bangalore.Bangalore had laid a good platform to post a huge score.Gayle was dropped when he was on 39 but he made Punjab to pay by smashing runs in quick time.Bangalore failed to make runs in the last over.Lets wait for the result in this clash.

I think now Punjab is in fourth position with 10 points and Bangalore is in sixth position with 9 points. Punjab has better run rate than Bangalore. There is no doubt that Bangalore is a strong team with some big names but what i think there weakness is bowling. they are able to score good totals with the big batting line up but they fail to restrict the opponents with there bowling performance. But on the other side Punjab is much balanced side. Punjab dont have big names like what Bangalore have but Punjab are much better balance side. they have the talent to chase down big score and to restrict the opponents to small scores. I think Punjab has better chance to enter the playoffs.

Kings XI Punjab won the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore and they are in the 4th position in points table, that's good turnaround.
As this win for Kings XI Punjab, things have turned around in IPL, now lets see who will be the top 4 in leage stage ...
