With no Dwight Howard in the game, does Davis has a chance to prove himself?

I really don't know the answer to that question. Being a Heat's fan for over 5 years, I am trying to see the scenario of my favorite team, so I checked the two games between Pacers and Magic and I didn't know that Dwight had surgery and we will not see him this post season. They have this enormous center, called Glen Davis, who in my opinion is a little too slow in driving the ball, but what a game he had. Excepting the few rejections from Hibbert, Davis tried to take the team on his shoulders and that was a respectable performance. Are there any Magic's fans out there? I would really like a nice opinion about Glen Davis and the Orlando Magic.

Glen Davis is a good player, coming from the shadows of Boston's team. He has experience and the kind of leadership that he gives to his teammates. He doesn't need to prove himself because he's done that during his stint with Boston. Without Dwight Howard, he is a good replacement but I think they can do better with Dwight. Game One is a good game where Davis played great. In the coming games, he will be a force to reckon with and I hope he will get ample support from his other teammates. When they play good defense, they will have a chance.

I'm not an Orlando Magic fan but I think Davis needs to step up without Dwight. Their offense sometimes. His recent performance is great. Against Hibbert, he may be outmatched at post but Big Baby has the agility and jump shot which can be his advantage. Aside from him, I think the Orlando needs to get other stars to shine. And importantly, they need to play good defense. Dwight is a big loss defensively.

He is a good player, he can give help to his team but unfortunately he is no match to dwight. That's why Orlando is another team that pays this exhausting season. Already 2 superstars are knocked out and everyday another player gets injured :( Shumpert, Buttler, Lin and more and more :(
