This morning in Yahoo, I found the interesting story of a woman in Arkansas, wo won a million in the lottery there simply by going through the trash at the store she was at and picking up a discarded ticket. Two ladies, one, the clerk at the store, as well as another lady who claimed that she was the one who threw away that ticket, although she admitted when she put the ticket through, it said it wasn't a winner feel that she is entitled to it. I have the link to the story. Tell me what you think..

Oh most definitely Roberten, most definitely. and the way I see this, it may not have been that particular lady's ticket either because she pushed the ticket under and it said, "not a winner" so to me plus didn't sign it, which could have solved plenty.

Wow that is a crazy story and it really got me thinking about both sides. I feel for the lady that threw the ticket away because she thought it wasn't a winner. I myself don't use the ticket machine I like to look up the numbers on the website so I never have that issue. I just would really hate to find out I had a winning ticket that someone else has claimed.
On the other hand once she threw that ticket away it was not hers anymore. I have been to the racetrack and seen people pick up tickets off the ground that end up being winners. I believe that is why some people rip them up because they don't want people claiming their ticket if they made a mistake.
I must admit I have taking peoples non winning scratchers from the trash and entered them on the lottery replay games. If anything I hope they can both end up with money somehow. If the lady didn't find it in the trash she would have never known it was a winner.
This is the best example of One Man's Trash Is Another Man's Treasure.
