Working at home may mean you are working on your computer with some online opportunities you are interested in. Or it could also mean that you work at home but not in front of your computer. You probably know how some craft and you are able to market those craft works, or you are probably engaged in Network marketing which is a popular kind of work-at-home job. There are other different types of online or offline work at home jobs that I haven't mentioned. What do you think are some of the best of them, and why do you think so?

I work not at home at a fulltime job that i am at right now, with alot on my shoulders. Since my boss is gone at the moment but will be back shortly i try to get in some time to do mylot. When i am at home and find some time to myself i try to write articles and submit them.
Now me and a freind have been thinking about starting a sports clothing company and get that going. I guess you can say i just need money and to get it going soon. I think its all time consuming and im waiting for a good oportunity to start something of my own.

I believe in a persons ability to make people like and want what you offer no matter
what you do if it was in a computer or you are going outdoor searching for possible clients.I think the most popular job is becoming a freelance agent to what product you wanted to sell. When it comes to online job it is up to what you like do because there are so many line of jobs waiting to be given your attention to do.

Yes, and we may say "the ocean is wide for those who wanted to fish" so I agree the opportunity is wide and varied and many possible paths to follow depending on one's talents and interests. Now if I could only know which product I want to sell online and how to sell them, then I am good to go. We produce some health products that are really effective, so I think those will be good to promote. I will just need to study more how to sell them online...anyone knows about this?

I think you must try to have your products be sold at Ebay. This is a great place in the web to sell all your health products. You must have a good marketing strategy so that many people would be inclined to buy your products.I wish I have help you in a small way.

Thanks berting600, it did help a lot! I would now check on Ebay and see how I could possibly sell our products to them. Anyway, do you know about how the delivery is administered...like what delivery service will handle the delivery and who pays for that service? I will also try to look on this information at ebay.

With online, writing articles for other people at iwriter.com is a good work at home opportunity. I have seen people earn good money from that site writing articles requested by other people.
With offline, you can do sales jobs. Like, posting a banner in front of your house informing them that you are a qualified real estate agent or insurance agent. You know, people only deal with people they know better. So, when your neighbors need insurance, chances are they will come to you for assistance because of that banner.

Hi magtibaygom, I just checked on iwriter.com and it really seems like a cool site. I would try joining soon and see if I would be good enough for such tasks. I said this because I haven't got any experience with any article writing jobs but I felt I have some abilities to write which just needed to be honed.
Do you or anyone probably knows a site that gives excellent basics to writing articles?
I agree that for offline work, sales would be the most probable choice because of the wide variety of products to sell considering your particular interests as well. Thanks for this suggestion as it becomes a good possibility for me now as I think of good ways I can do this. Have a great day!

I registered in oDesk before but haven't started working there yet, but I would probably try writing there because that is only one of the few tasks I can do in such sites. Mylot is really a great site to have fun and enjoy.
Anyway, anyone can suggest some good "offline" work that you can do at home that could be good?

Mylot is great for resources and finding the answers to questions. I prefer writing for freelance websites with upfront payments and some with revenue share. Mylot is new to me, it is actually more of a for fun website.

I invested in my QuickBooks certification and an Accounting degree in order to work on some bookkeeping work from home on the side. It was beneficial, and makes it easier to find offline work from home. A QuickBooks certification is rather cheap compared to a traditional education. It can also be completed in less than a year. Accounting freelance offline is much more lucrative than writing.

I started working at home over 6 years ago. I have had a chance to look at many different opportunities and earn enough money to stay at home with my little ones, while my husband works outside the home. A great website that lists legitimate work at home opportunities is http://www.theboredmomma.com/ there is also a facebook page when new opportunities are posted and its updated weekly. It is a started webpage but it is a good one.

Your website looks really interesting, I would try to look if there are opportunities there I could make use of. Anyway your website focuses on working moms and my mother who is already 75 years old and still sharp mentally wanted to learn how to earn online, so what particular online works/jobs/opportunities would you suggest (as you are a working mom yourself and have first hand experience) for my 75 year old mom?

Wow $25,000 in a year? That is great! I would read more about your blogs and really look more into it.
How about in my case, the only computer skills I know of are typing skills, improving English sentences, writing skills, and probably a few others so I don't know a lot of computer skills so I'm not sure if I can still earn a lot. Like in oDesk, when I look at the possible tasks there I can see only a few I can do so would that be a block in earning on your recommended sites?
Okay, I will tell my mom about what you have just said and guide her along the way. Anyway we live in the same house therefore we have the same IP address. Would it be allowed for both of us to join the sites you recommended or only one member per household?

The best advice I can provide is educate yourself with the various websites, the trade of the businesses and read ebooks. I have been working from home for about 6 years and I make about $25,000 as of last year. I started out at earning $2,000 a year. Slowly I find my income growing and I am learning new things. Unfortunately my website is not SEO optimized, and it is written in more of a blog tone.
Research the companies you want to work for and always follow every guideline. It will definitely help you earn an honest, legitimate income, but it takes years to earn riches, it may not be entirely possible. I am a realist so I only research legitimate opportunities.
The best thing she can do or herself is to join freelance websites like oDesk, freelancer and elance to build a profile and references for better paying jobs. You will not make a ton in the beginning, but the experience goes a long way years down the road.
