My USB Was Not Recognised By The Computer

My USB suddenly not working today. The computer kept telling me that "the USB device is not recognised", " unknown device", etc. I was really fed up by it for the whole day as I was afraid that I would have lost all the data like last time when my laptop was out of order though the data is not extremely important. Fortunately, it works again after pressing the 'reset' button. However, it really has wasted me a lot of time trying different methods posted in forums by the others. Have you lost any of your files before due to the failure of the laptop or computer?

I think they are usually quite smart. However, it would be a disaster when somebody like me who is not very good at using them have to deal with them.

Suggest keep at least 2 copies of important files on differant drives, including CD, network disk, HDD etc. Then, it can be guaranteed that your important files are safe. I think using network disks are among the best ways to save files. There are many free network disks, including ADrive, 115, Vdisk etc.

I've never lost any important files before but had my usb burnt by fire due to my carelessness. I am more cautious now, I have separate back up files besides my computer to ensure that my works are safe in case something happens like that.
