Do you like reptiles

Hi who here enjoys reptiles? my snake just died and im just wondering how many out there actually enjoys the company of them?

I use to have a phobia of snakes. Then I moved in with my current room mates and they both have pet snakes. While I still won't go near her boa constrictor, Henry, her King Snake Woody, I adore. He's small and has a personality - something I didn't know about snakes until I met him. lol I won't get him out without her around or anything like that. But often I will sit by his tank and talk to him about daily things or what ever crosses my mind. So I don't know about snakes in general but I do enjoy Woody's company. L)

Yeah a lot of people seem to be scared or wary of them. give me any type of reptile and im fine but give me a little spider and im off lol. i used to have a gopher bull snake he was 10 ft long he used to even come out on the bike with me and everything, you should have seen some on the looks i would get when i went in the shop lol, he used to put his head out my top and rest it on my shoulder. he was very protective tho :-/

That's how my room mate is too. She loves her snakes but is terrified of spiders. I'm pretty good with spiders, I'm the one everyone calls to come get the spider out of the bath room.
I've seen Henry all wrapped around my roomie like that - and it still makes me nervous (he's a constrictor). He must have been heavy to have on the bike with you though. I'm horrible at bike riding because of equilibrium issues, so I could never imagine having an extra living animal on there with me. lol

I had tree frogs, fish, and an alligator lizard for a long time. I do like that they are minimal need of attention or clean up, and are also contained in one area. Also I like the way they move!
