Newcastle stun Chelsea to win 2-0 at Stamford Bridge!!

Newcastle stunned Chelsea with two wonder strikes by Cisse to put Chelsea out of contention for a top 4 finish for the season. The second goal from Cisse is being talked about for the goal of the season award.
Tottenham meanwhile won their match against Bolton 4-1 to still hold the advantage over Newcastle for the 4th spot. Given the run ins that both teams have Tottenham now look the favorites to get the 4th spot. But you never know, the form that Newcastle is in, they could still beat Man City!!

The goal from Cisse is totally good finishing. I like both goals and i believe Newcastle can override the fourth place of Tottenham now. Seems its big chance for Newcastle to plat champion league next season. Really awesome.
Wait and watch the rest. Anything could happen.

Chelsea is one of the team which is in form prior to the Newcastle game. For the Maggies to go to Stamford Bridge and get that result, it is definitely a good one. As for Cisse's second goal, that is definitely the goal of the season. It is much better than even RVP's volleyed goal against Everton and Liverpool. This coming from an Arsenal fan, shows how wonderful I thought of that goal.

Yes, that was what was stunning about the Newcastle performance. No one saw it coming. But I believe when you have two clinical strikers who are good enough to take their chances, then you always stand a chance.
They were just showing the second goal here again and again I could just stand up and applaud as Cech flapped at the ball. :)

thats good for Newcastle..they are deserved to be playing in champions league next season that the team which only put all his player become defender..they should play in european league..i really hate the team which put 10 defender only for protectiong their goalkeeper

Unfortunately, the result for Tottenham seems to indicate that probably they will just miss out on the Champions League position. Also, if Chelsea win the Champions League final, then they will get a direct route in the CL next season. This would mean that there would only be three open spots from England.
