Awww well it depends, if there is something that could be fix and both of you could talk about it then you better fix it ASAP. If things get serious and threatening then call the police so he/she knows you are serious about it and will never tolerate it.

Your lover is black mailing you!? That's a disgusting man. You better stay away to guys like that, because they will just take everything you have then they will leave in the end and you will be the loser one. Just a suggestion.
