Why does our body temperature high when we're lack of sleep?

I slept so late yesterday. I only have 3 hours of sleep. Of course I'm so exhausted and I couldn't focus well on my tasks. But apart from that, I noticed that my body temperature gets high. I cannot even touch my body because it's too hot. So I'm wondering now why does our body temperature high? Did anyone also experience this? What did you do? Is this normal?

Hmm, I have never heard of this personally, but it could be that your system is just kind of on an overdrive to keep awake. Have you checked your actual temperature? You could be coming down with something, and the lack of sleep made it come faster :(
