What are the hurdles you usually encounter when working from home? Something like a negative force of gravity that pulls you down and is preventing you from succeeding from home. And how do you deal with them?

I find a hard thing is actually feel guilty just sitting at home, even if I am earning money. I look around and see that the blankets need to be washed, carpet needs vacuuming, dishes in the sink...etc. I usually only spend about an hr. working before I have to get up and do somre chores to feel like I actually did something worthwile...which is funny because I get paid doing computer work, and not at all for chores.

Your work must be easy. May I know what is it? Would you like to share some information to us about your computer work at home? But for me, it is okay. Don't feel guilty of that. You know, I've read a book written by a rich man, his name is Robert Kiyosaki, he taught us that those mean house chores should be delegated to maids and houseboys so you can focus more on working from home earning more money. That's the secret of the rich, according to him. Do you agree with him?

OMG, rewardsinlife I was about to type something so similar to what you wrote. I'm glad I read your response first lol. I feel the exact same way and do the exact same thing. Lately I have been trying to clean before I start my work online. It doesn't always work though, like now I am working while washing clothes. But still I have a list of house work running through my head while I writing this.

@magtibaygom: I get what you are saying with that concept, but the problem is that if you hire maids and people to clean your house and do the chores/tasks, then you'll be paying them money, which means an expense. Then, in the long run (unless you can increase your earnings), you will be left with less money then when you used to just do the chores yourself.

Well we have been working from home online since around 2003. We were going to garage sales, flee markets, estate sales and we even had people giving us stuff they didn't want. Our sales were doing really well. We even met someone at a thrift store who wanted to go into partnership with us. He had all of this left over stuff but it was good quality and we knew we could sell it. So he stored the stuff at our house and his inventory kept us busy for two years. With his stuff bar mirrors which were difficult to wrap but we got the hang of it and some of our customers said we wrapped the mirror like it was a ming vase that's how well we wrapped them only one broke and that was because the post office ran over it. Every year our sales were up and we didn't have any difficulty selling our products. We were up to $5000 a month up until 2008 and then everything just started sliding downhill from there. We still our no where close to being where we were at that point in time. So my advice to you is hang in there -- so what the house needs cleaning. Write down your business plan and stick with it. Create goals for yourself and try to match them. We know the only way we can get our sales up again is with volume. The US economy is slowing getting back to where it was in 2007 although our best sales was in 2006 and our sales have been going down ever since. We just keep adding more streams of income to help out with the business. Business plan and write down in a day timer what your goals are that you want to accomplish within the day and do this everyday. Allow 1 hour to do chores then write down how many hours you want to do your online work. Break it up if you have to that's what we do. Remember it takes time to build a business too. Best of luck to you.

That's nice to hear from you. Resilience is the key. Whatever happens, you have to hang on there and continue working for your dreams. Taking setbacks as challenges. ;)

I am not working at home per se, it is that I am working online as another source of income. The problem with this kind of work is that I could not allot enough time since at present I need to concentrate more on my permanent job. Well, anyway I can always do it if the things I am doing right now has been done. For now, I wuld concentrate first on my permanent job.

Online program does requires an ample amount of patience and determination in order to hit your pot of earnings, however as many online programs are spreading in the internet, many should always put precautionary measures before engaging on such programs like doing a background research in order to find its legitimacy. Some struggles, one encounters online are waiting for the target pay, this is quite the common encounter we do start off because some online program requires a desired target earning in order to hit it to the “pay-me-now” option. Another thing it an update from your online program, sometimes money generated aren’t reflected on real time, so you have to wait for some time that this will update most especially that some online earning programs have different time zone from your location.

I have been at this since '97 I remember when eBay was an infant heck I was young myself I thought the internet is the ultimate game changer. I made and lost a lot of money over all those years and doing well now but I can't convince the people who need it the most not to give up. I'm good at making money but not so good at helping people as hard as I try. I can give the fish, the reel, the bait, and the boat but the won't take prefer to buy it and then won't use it! And no I'm not giving a free boat so don't ask just an expression, lol. One day I'm going to figure this out!
