When I was 18 years old I went on a fantastic trip around Europe. That year was 1990 and now it is 2012. So many changes have happened in Europe since my trip at the beginning of the 1990s. It was Yugoslavia in 1990 and in the middle of the 1990s a war broke out there. By the time I went there in 2003 it had became different countries. I visited Croatia, Montenegro and Slovenia on that cheap and very enjoyable trip.
If you did get to travel around Europe which places would you be keen on seeing?
Can you you think back to a trip you did when you were much younger?

I love europe because of its old history and also the culture there and people living there.I would like to slow down my pace of life and sit there just enjoy how they are doing. For i would like to go Spain and also Sweden. There are so many places that i'm intersted in.Well,i have to earn the money so can afford being there.Plus, still get so many chances to make that come true.

I took the train through beautiful Sweden through to Narvik in Norway. I recommend you combine seeing Sweden with a little of wonderful Norway. You would find Spain a much cheaper destination and it is lovely. Portugal is also worth seeing its capital Lisbon is stunning with its architecture.

I have had the chance to visit many of the other European countries, but there are still some countries where I haven't been. I am especially interested in visiting Slovenia, Croatia and Macedonia. One of my friends has been to Croatia a couple of times, he likes the country a lot and when I heard about his experiemces I became interested in visiting Croatia myself. Another friend has been to Slovenia, and that also sounds like an interesting country. I am interested in Macedonia because I used to have a penfriend from Macedonia and she has told me a lot about her country. While I am in that part of Europe I would like to catch a train to Vienna and explore that city, too. I have been to Austria, but I have never been to Vienna.
In 1989 and 1990 I visited the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and France. I was very young at that time and I travelled with my parents. I think that it could be interesting to visit those countries again. I am sure that it would be a very different experience today, because in 1998 and 1990 I wasn't very interested in sightseeing. Today I love sightseeing, and there are many places in those countries that I want to visit again.

I loved visiting Croatia and think it is one of the most beautiful countries in Europe. I think Lake Bled in Slovenia has the most gorgeous setting in Europe. Wow! I hope that you will visit both countries and combine them with Macedonia. Yes, Vienna is a city I liked seeing very much but I was shocked at its prices. It is fantastic your parents took you traveling with them to Belgium, the Netherlands and France. Yes, you are much keener on sightseeing now I believe.

I'm actually a European-I live Hungary. In Europe, I've been to Italy, Greece and Austria, but there so many more countries I wanna visit... France, the UK, any Scandinavian country, Poland and so and so forth. In the last few years I had no opportunities to go abroad (either I had too few money, or I didn't find anyone whom I could travel with in a certain time), but I can't wait to go on another trip!

I visited Budapest in Hungary when I was 18 years old on my inter rail pass. That was in 1990. I didn't get to Prague in the Czech Republic until 1996 by which time it was really touristy. Good luck planning another trip and finding your ideal travel companion.
