I was with my friend yesterday, we have this routine when our rest day meets. We eat outside, window shopping and been to massage together when she suddenly ask "At what age you want to die". I laugh and say where that came from? but still i answer her... in my 80' i think, and she said, me in my 70's...then I manage to say a joke to her that's unfair i can mourn for you but you cant for me then we laugh...But the question still sink in my mind, this life is not ours, its borrowed and whenever the owner take it at least i can say to him thank you i have a great journey with it by spending it with a friend...

Hello friend,
I think the 70 is the perfect age. What do you think?
Have a nice day.

This is a very good question! I want to die as soon as My life becomes a burden, or even slightly before such a thing happens. Life becomes hell with the onslaught of many debilitating diseases. No one wants to live after losing all or most of ones mind, and or, bodily functions!

I too would like to live a long life as long as I'm in the healthiest shape I can be in. I would like to be around to see my child grow up, to be there when she starts a family of her own. To give her advice whenever she ask for it. To see my grandchildren grow up if she has any. To have a good career and be surrounded by those I love. Life truly is precious and at times we need to remind ourselves of this.

It is a weird question indeed. Personally I don't care also I never understand (or understood) why people find it important to get old. So many old people are lonesome, alone, left over. Quality of life is way more important to me as the quantity (long life). Struggle with money, health is not really my way of getting old. This besides of the fact that nobody will miss you anyway.

Depending on the friend who was asking, I'd think I would reply "why, are you planning on killing me?" The question does make you think. I think it's funny though... some people want to live to be in their 80s, 90s, and 100s, and then there are those who want to "live fast, die young." I don't know exactly when I want to die though, I just hope when I do, everything I will have wanted to do with my life will be done!

That would be an odd question, it seems to me these days we seem to measure life by quantity than quality. I would love to live to be as old as I can, as long as my life still has quality to it, being able to do stuff for myself, and still able to enjoy time with those I love. I never want to be a burden to those I care so much for. So I agree with you, we should have great journeys full of those we love.
