Mumbai Indians pulled out an improbable victory by 1 run against Pune Warriors. Batting first Mumbai Indians batting collapsed and they set Pune a paltry score of 120 off 20 overs. Chasing such a modest score, Pune made a hash of the chase finally could only muster 119 off their 20 overs and fell 1 run short.
With this loss, Pune Warriors chances for the playoffs is more or less finished.
Cheers!
Ram

Yes. yet another last ball ending match. MI bowlers did well to restrict a small total of 121. Almost all bowlers shine with the ball. But on the other side manhas played a brilliant innings to bring PWI from 4-47 to a good position. but sadly, fell a run short.

Hi Ram,
The match was an absolute thriller. Both teams fought till the very end.The wicket of Ganguly was the turning point. He was dismissed by Malinga in the 19th over.It had already assured that Mumbai will win.But still Pune fought back very hard. They just needed 12 runs from 6 balls which is not very difficult.I think Pune should have won that match. They wasted 1 ball and it 12 runs from 5 balls. In the end they lost the match by 1 run.It is confirmed Pune Warriors India need a minor miracle to go through the playoffs.
