My friend's cats are really very dear to her. I would often take care of what I say about cats that might hurt her. Her cats are just the ruler of the house. They just look at me with an unwelcome, "you are an intruder" kind of stare whenever I visit. One of them would even stay on the sink in the toilet and won't leave whenever I use it. It would just give me that look of "this is my territory, faster please".
We used to have cats at home but the normal ones. They were so sweet and would keep rubbing their bodies on my feet. They'd also be gone for days but would come back like they never left. When visitors come at our house then they'd immediately keep circling around their legs. That's why I am so surprised with how diva like these cats of my friends are.
Anyway, we went smoking some weed in her house one night but she didn't let us do it inside coz the cats would be stoned for seven years. How true is this?

I think it is not true, that cats get stoned for seven years or whatever. In the first place cats have a very sensitive sense of smell, if they have smelled unpleasant odor from a smoke to them is very harmful. When they smell, mostly affect their vision and keep running blind. My cat also running blind when he was accidentally smell smoke around our house.

I don't know about them being stoned for seven years but they do get stoned. My cat loves it, he puts his face in the smoke and just starts purring like crazy, then he will just have a munch and goes to sleep, a really happy puss, but he doesn't like catnip now,so maybe that is a downside. Anyway, my cat is usually back to normal when he wakes up and he is usually very playful then.

Technically, every animal has cannabinoid receptors, so yes, they can get high. But be careful, don't breathe smoke in your animal's direction. They've got smaller bodies and stronger senses of smell. But still, only small amounts are actually used for medicine on animals.

Oh yeah you can get a pet high. We would smoke hookah in our house when I'm not pregnant and our dog at the time would let you smoke it in his face and he would start getting high. One night we let someone smokeing and blow the smoke in his face not a lot just a little and he was stoned for a little bit not to long just enough to mellow him out. Yep its true.

I would imagine so, my dog does. She seems to like it though. When I light up she runs over to my side with her head in my lap. I really do love her so I don't do it that often. Don't know if it kills the dogs brain cells or not.
