Today I went to the supermarket. I buy small quantities of food so I can walk there. Today they had some DVDs for mother´s day. I looked at the sale and discovered a DVD with an onlive presentation of the BeeGees singing ll those songs I know by heart. I decided to give a mother´s day gift to myself and bought it. I was cheap and awesome! So after lunch and went under the covers in my bed (it´s getting cold here) and saang along with them Tragedy and other beautiful themes. Do you buy gifts for you on Chrismas, your birthday or Mother´s Day? Share! Do you like the Bedd Gees? I DO!!!

Indeed,Mother's day will be next week. I am planning to buy a chocolate cake and cook spaghetti on mother's day. I love my mother dearly and I would do anything just to make her happy. I like Bee Gees to. When I was young, my father used to play their songs every Sunday morning.

We are planning a sort of treat for mother´s day with my mom. She has wanted to go to a beauty parlour to have her hair cut but she must go with someone. So I´m taking her and after that we´ll go out for lunch at a nice sushi place nearby.

Maybe, you can comment on the pictures you took (if you did). I love doing that with my daughters.

When is mother´s day in Chile?, we celebrate it on august 15th, I never buy anything for myself, of course, but always buy, or do something for my mother, she likes religious items. Sometimes, I treat myself for my birthday, I may buy somethins special for dinner, but, usually, I expect my friends to do so. :)
Ilike Bee Gees, specially their oldest material, those things from the disco era, really doesn ´t move me. Is a shame what´s happening with the surviving members, they are all so sick and deteriorated. Have you seen recently Robin Gibb?, is heart touching.

Dear marguicha
I always celebrate any festivity no matter from what religion. I do believe that we all must have days when we should celebrate, learn about the different cultures and how things are.
For buying gifts, yes, many a times I do. I cannot opt for costly or high priced ones (owing to my non-regular income) but yes, I can always afford a pack of chocos and I guess that these too are gifts, after all, it is the feeling that matters.
This mother's day, I am going to gift a saree (an Indian dress for women)each to my mom and even my wife(unfortunately, my wife has been away on work since jan 2012) but I will hand it over to her when she arrives on May 20th.

Mother's day is around the corner. At this time i think of my mother. My mother is great . She brought up us seven siblings. in order to make us grow healthy, she did what she could. Although she has so many children she treats each of us as her only child. She teaches us a lot. Thanks Mum.

She must be a great lady. It is very difficult to bring up seven children. I´m sure I would have ended up crazy. I almost did, with my own two

I do. I would always include my name on my list of people to give gifts to, especially during Christmas. And, I would have the biggest budget among all..lol Well, if I can't make myself happy, I won't be able to share happiness with other people, right.
For mother's day, I want to buy myself a pair of stud earrings. And, I've already bought my mother a new pair of eyeglasses.

I manage to give gifts to all my loved ones although now many times they are homemade. But yesterday I bought a gift for myself. I had not heard the old themes from the Bee Gees and certainly not in a live concert. It was a treat followed by sorrow. I checked online about them and they have hd tragic lives

My mother does not care for material things anymore as she is old and says she has everything she needs. But she loves flowers and I can buy flowers or a plant for a very reasonable price. I don´t buy expensive flower arrangements, but just a bunch of the least expensive ones. For her birthday, I have violets in my garden so I pick violets and she puts them near her in a violet vase she has.

I usually used to celebrate my mothers and father's birthday. I used to buy them good clothes for them. I think these are the some of the methods or ways to show them my love and my respect and I will never miss my chance to show it.

Wow. That sounds great. I love my mother, I do prepare surprises in her birthday but during Mothers Day I have not try giving her any gifts or surprises.
