I was borne in a village and my father had HBV all the time. 9 years after i came to this world, i accepted the HBV vaccine. But when i graduated from high school, i took a healthy examination under the state policy. The result show that i have been infected with HBV.At that time, I didnot pay much attention about it, because i can live normally like everybody else, i think it is just nothing.I went to collage happily and look forward a beautiful future of myself. Four years later, i was admitted to a famous univerty to study for my mater's degree.I was so confident about my future that time.Another 3 years passed away, and i was going to graduate as a master and terminate my campus life, and also i have found a decent job(I like this job very much). 12 June 2011,i graduated, and i went to work on 8 July. Before i was placed on a post, i took a healthy examination again organized by the company.10 days later, I received a notice from the human resource department and they told me that i have HBV, and i was not accepted by the company, they will dismiss me.After a long negotiation with them, the company gave me some compensation and i was out of work.Frustration, depression begins to wind my brain, finally i got without healthy examination but with little payment. Now, i am still in this company, and i begin to suffer from the finacial pressure, but i cann't found a decent job with the HBV.Confidence starts losing, what should i do???

Hi there my friend? This Hepatitis B Virus has no cure compared to Hepatitis A virus.Since HBV can be transmitted through blood and it is in your bloodstream already.I'm sorry to hear that my friend but please don't lose hope. The question is is your heath deteriorating and is there any symptoms that you are encountering now like pain in the right area of your upper abdomen or even yellowish of your eyes? I hope this is not happening to you, because there are some cases of HBV positive that are asymptomatic or it means they were immune. I have a friend with the same case like you, he is a license electrical engineer and luckily he was hired from one good company out of the country but he failed to passed the medical examination because he is positive with HBV, that time he was very upset since he lost the big opportunity, he had even went to a different hospital to ask for a second opinion and even praying that there will be a cure. But since HBV is a transmitted disease or inherited disease as of now there's no cure on the said disease. As of now my friend is working in our country since its not that strict to some of the company's unless you were not working in a hospital or in a medical field like doctor or nurse. My friend don't be upset and still look for the better future, don't lose your confidence.I hope you will be enlighten and give yourself more hope and eagerness to pursue your dream.

Thank you for your long and encouragous description. This will make me more confident for my future. I am also struggling for a decent job that need less strict on medical examination. I have no situation of feeling pain in the right area of my upper abdomen, but my eyes are some kinds of yellow.I hope that my situation is not getting worse.

I'm so sorry to hear what you're going through. It must be hard for you to be getting these frustrations and being denied a right to have a good job, despite your investment in educating yourself.
Is this something that can be treated and cured permanently? If so, you should seek for medical help and cooperate as much as you can to rid of the illness. When you're better, it should be easier for you to deal with the world. I do hope it can be cured.

It cannot be cured permanently at this time.In my country, companies are not allowed to take the HBV part into the health examimation, but many companies still do it because it is infectious through body fluid.

I think it could be important for some companies, like in food industry, that requires strict sanitation measures. I guess, for now, you could look for a company that doesn't discriminate against people with HBV.
Thanks for the BR, by the way.
