Moon affects our moods

It is well known that moon affects our moods, centuries ago, the word “lunatic” (Luna for Moon) was ascribed to those whose sanity and violence of mood was affected by the full Moon. The patients in mental hospitals and mental asylums become more violent on certain days.
As per astrology, the Sun gives life, while the Moon’s pull, its gravitational field regulates it. It affects the tides in sea, the rains, the fertility, the plant life, and even the life cycles of animals and humans.
It regulates the menstrual cycle of women and their changing moods too; most women have their period near the full moon or new moon. 6th May is full moon; most women will have periods around this date.
Some astrologers believe, the Moon is a station on route for the coming and going of souls to earth, so we the Hindus perform the ‘sradha’, offering to our dead ancestors on different days based on lunar calendar in a particular lunar month.
The farmers here, including my relatives that live in our native village in Chhattisgarh and here in Orissa do gardening, sowing of seeds, fishing etc on different days based on lunar calendar. Generally seed sowing and planting is done in day time, morning hours. It is believed that the Moon and its cycles affect plant growth and give a larger, tastier harvest.
Here they sow the seeds on Akshya Trutia.
Generally the aboveground crops are planted during the light of the Moon; but belowground crops are planted during the dark of the Moon.
Ladies, do you think your moods are affected by moon, particularly during menstrual cycles?
Have you observed the effect on tides in sea?
Do people at your place do fishing, gardening or planting of seeds on days based on lunar calendar?
Please share and comment on different aspects of this story.
Thanks in advance.

That's very possible, cause if it could affect the tide which is water, then it would also affect our body and blood which is also made up of water, so I would say it's very possible.

As a certified Astrologer, i work for some almanac published from my city and my state, my view is, people burn under different moon signs, that is determined by exact time, date, place of birth are effected differently, this we publish in the almanacs of each year

This is always something that has interested me. If the moon can effect the tides, and other plants the way they grow and develop, it is reasonable to assume that they effect human beings. I keep a diary and notice that at the dark of the moon, I tend to feel more introspective, and coming up to the full moon, I seem to be more energetic. I tend to follow my astrological chart that was cast for me by an astrologer friend many years ago, and I notice that there are definite patterns of mood and physical well-being at certains times of the cycle. _Derek

I've never really paid attention to my moods during the cycle of the moon, but based on what I've seen from other people, especially during a full moon, I do tend to think that people are a little bit crazy when there is a full moon.
The main reason that I say this is because of the fact that I used to work at a local hospital and it was always the craziest on the nights where there was a full moon. The patients were restless that were on the floors and the emergency room was more busy than usual.

My grandmother says that crabs are big when harvested in a full moon. In the Philippines, many people also say that the moon affects our personality. They say that some goes crazy when the moon is full. In my case, I don't think the moon has something to do with my personality.
