Walmart, cheap, service

Wamart opens stores in China. I bought a pair of pants in a Walmart store.I wanted them to be shortened.And I have the receipt.But they said they are not their pants.This surprised me and made me angry. I wanted to see the manager and return funds.The employee at the service said nothing and didn't call the manager. She was unwilling to shorten the pants.Since the problem was solved, I left. But I wander why they refused at first and did for me after I asked to return funds.What do you think of Walmart in China? Do you often shop there?What about the service in your country? D o you think the goods is cheap in Walmart?

WOW! They actually make pants shorter at Walmart in China! Over here in the States you are stuck with what you buy. If you buy them to long then you have to take them else where to make them shorter. Walmart in my opinion does have cheap products. I try to avoid buying anything from them. I will go to a local shop before Walmart.

May I know why you avoid buying from them? Is it because the products are cheap?

I'm here in the States and Walmart doesn't alter clothes here. If you buy some pants that are too long then you do it yourself or return them as Outkast said. In fact none of the chain stores here offer that service. Some of the pricier clothing shops do but that's it. It would not even occur to me to take them back and expect them to alter them. Is that a common service you get in China?

I think the cost of Wal-Mart stores are very less compared to other services. I think the goods should be of good quality. I am sorry to hear that you had some bad experience with Wal-Mart. I hope they provide good quality goods to keep their reputation I am not sure about the goods in Wal-Mart since we do not have any Wal-Mart stores in our place. Hope everything happens well in the future regarding the shopping.
