I haven't paid attention to the popular music these years. It seems that Adele is a very popular singer even if she doesn't dress up as well as Lady Gaga and her look is also ordinary. I think she has the talent of singer and she doesn't win by her look. However, I haven't heard of her songs yet. Any good suggestions?

I recently heard her first - and so far only - two albums, "19"; and "21". I far preferred the first one, "Adele", which features quite a few songs she wrote entirely on her own, and as I recall, I was impressed by them. "19" also features the song which is among her most famous, the achingly beautiful "Chasing Pavements", which is still among her best; and it features a truly heartfelt performance by the talented young Englishwoman. I'm not a big fan of "21", but "19" is a very fine album, and for her third, I'd really like to see her writing on her again, as Amy Winehouse did on "Back to Black"; that is as opposed to in collaboration. I always prefer the songs that are written by one person. So, I recommend "19"...as I recall I thought highly on it when I heard it.

Sure; but 19 is based mainly on Adele's solo writing, simpler, but much better.

Adele is different from other popular singers this time. She's different compared to other singers like Britney, Taylor, and of course not like Lady Gaga. For me, Adele has a wonderful voice and her songs have nice meaning. I don't know why I keep on listening to Adele's song when I am mad and not in the mood. The ways she dressed herself is different. She's like an old fashioned but not really. It's just that her clothes are simple. Her voice makes the people attracted to her. Lady Gaga has a nice meaningful songs in other side but in Adele, it's different.
I can say this because I've been a fan of Lady Gaga before and now, not anymore. I'm more on listening to Adele's song. They're much more worth of listening. My favorite songs of Adele are Someone Like You, Chasing Pavements, and Set Fire to The Rain. Those songs sounds so great. You'd better listen to it.

Her song "Some one like you " is really really orphean. The melody is so moving.
I feel that there are some similarity between her and whitney Houston.

Adele does not have to dress up like Lady Gaga to gain attention. She has the voice that would lead us all in awe. Her voice is really powerful and I think she is pretty. She just needs to lose some extra pounds. She has a lot of good songs. My favorites are Someone Like You and Chasing Pavements.

I love Adele! I'm so glad that after this all fake, all balloon (what I mean: colorful and cute but all air inside) music era (I don't necessarily mean Gaga, because some of her songs have really deep meanings) with all that autotune and pointless songs and electro people pay more and more attention to more pure, more natural pop songs, where you should have a nice melody, a good singer and you're fine, and Adele is one of the best examples for that (I also like Lana Del Rey... she's more "made" than Adele, I think, but still not that kind autotune stuff). I guess her most popular song is Rolling in the deep, and you may have heard that actually (jusr you don't know the artist), because it was all played around the world in such a heavy rotation. I also lile Rumour has it from her, or if you're more a ballad person, Someone like you or Set fire to the rain are nice, also Chasing pavements from an earlier album of hers.

Adele is one of today's most talented singer the world has ever seen and she's only aged 23! She doesn't look a bit her age with her mature looks and plump body, but once she opens her mouth to sing, she commands a powerful aura around her with her long deep and wide-ranging vocals. You might want to check out "Rolling in the Deep" and "Someone like You' - they are her most popular, and award-winning, songs. Her album, 21, dominated song charts worldwide for weeks.
