How do you interpret this?

This morning one of my male colleagues told me that he had me in his dream the night before. He didn’t understand why. I was surprise to hear what he said and didn’t know what to say. After a couple of seconds, I brushed it off and said: you had better ask the psychic...... Deep down, I don’t know what he actually meant. Did he really fancy me and give me the hint? Or he just said it as a joke? What would you interpret if you were me? What would you respond him? Many thanks in advance for sharing your view.

Maybe he likes you. It's just that he's having a hard time saying it. You can ask Him what it's all about coz maybe it's a horror dream! lol

Well, frankly I can sense that he likes me. But why didn't he ask me out then? I am still puzzling this.

I can sense that he's a bit shy. For now, if you also like him you can find ways to make you both closer. Then if you guys were super close and super friends, and if he still like you there's no reason that he wont ask you out.

Hmmm... sounds really flattering. I know I would be if I were in your situation... unless if he said the story like it was his worst nightmare that is. Your discussion is not detailed enough so we can't really say. Though, frankly, this is not a sure sign that he likes you. You might be making a big deal out of such a small thing, but who knows.

Many thanks for contributing your thought. I could be making a big deal out of a small thing. I should be cool and think twice before getting flatter.

Uhmm. Maybe at first, you should just ignore it. If he dreamed about you, it might not mean anything and if you confronted him about it you might just get embarrassed so it's better if for now, just be silent about it. However, if there comes another time when he hinted again that he's like into you, then maybe it's true that he likes you or something.

Many thanks for sharing your view. I shouldn't be so sensitive for now and take whatever he said as flatter. I should be cool and calm.

Well the fact that he has dreamed of you maybe even true. And maybe he was anxious to tell you, almost like you get surprised. Now, you see, knowing the intentions of men, I can also assume that he has wanted to tell it to you, say to make you almost appreciation. Then from there you know, you say ... begins to flirt. However, in any case you'd be interested? However mine is pure supposition, take it for what it is from. After all his might just need a funny joke.

Honestly, I am quite interested on him. But he hasn't asked me out yet. I don't know what kind of tactics he uses. I just don't like him tell me things especially sort of 'passion and love' in the office. Thanks for sharing your view anyway.

Oh, better you don't mind about his talk. No hint or any meaning behind it at all. You are so sensitive with his talk. It is just a dream and anything could be in dream. You are in his dream just because he and you are colleagues. Another girl will be in his dream next time, do you know it?

Many thanks for sharing your unique opinion. I really like it. I shouldn't be so drawn to his saying, I feel like a fool.

Maybe that person likes you very much but he couldn't say it through a better way because he would be afraid of what would you say. Some people would try to give flowers and chocolates, letters and some through a friendship request but most of them actually don't have the courage to say how they feel.

Hmmm, the 'honey words' cost nothing and work better than the flowers and chocolates. Without writing down anything won't make him feel like a fool......it is the simple and clever way to express his feelings.......

I would have asked what exactly he dreamed. Since you dont say it over here I assume you don't know. I can be everything.. you can be a serial killer or perhaps you just stood there for a moment in the corner and he associates you with something. It all depends on the kind of dream as well. Since you told him to ask a psychic (do they explain dreams by now as well?) he at least knows a lot more about you and who knows he is able to explain his dream with you in it, easier now.

Many thanks for sharing your view. The reason I didn't ask for the exact details of his dream was dye ti I didn't want the whole team in the office would treat it as a laugh stock. So I tried to search for the words to brush it off via suggesting him to ask a psychic. After all, the psychic could explain the dream or not, I have no idea. Imagine in that situation, all I wanted was to end that conversation......Should I ask him privately?

I would ask what happened and what I did. If it's a dirty dream, then I would just laugh it out and not take it seriously. He may be trying to hit on you by saying that, but it's up to how you would respond. If you don't like him, then just ignore it. I had the same experience, and he gave me a puzzled look about why he had me in his dreams. And, I was his boss, so I thought - the nerves you have to tell me that. I just said, "really?", with a smirk and changed the topic. I didn't want to entertain that type of discussion, because again, I was his boss, and I don't like the fact that they could just easily talk to me that way, especially in the office. I don't think that's decent.

You are cool. With a simple word and gesture already brush it off and change the subject. I like the way you handle things. :-)

He didn't really give you enough information for you to have any information about how he feels. I don't know why he would say something like that for no reason though. I would try to follow up on that encounter though by making some more conversation with him. It's worth it, especially if you're attracted to him. Maybe he was just looking for a way to get closer to you? There's no telling. Good luck to you!

True, there is the dilemma lies. If he is attracted to me, why didn't he ask me out instead of telling me this in front of everyone? Should I ask him privately?
