I found your post and although it is old I Hope you don't mind me answering it.It is raining in England and has done so almost non stop for three months. We do get the occasional dry day when we all rush to hang some washing out on the line or go for a walk.It is just so miserable the thunder and lightening has been so loud.We live half way up a hill so the chances of getting flooded are quite low. Some people have been flooded so often ,I feel so sorry for them all their stuff soaked and ruined. So in answer to your discussion I don't mind the occasional rainy day as this is England and we are used to it.It is just rained for months and it is so difficult to find something to do.I know what you mean the rain seems to sap your energy.

I love rainy days than having this intense heat. It's appetizing to eat when it's raining. The climate is cool and I would have a good sleep. What I don't want is a heavy rain that causes flood.

I guess for some reason, the rains somehow affect the moods of people, and usually it dampens them. I don't mind rainy days as long as these don't turn into storms. I find myself relaxed but at the same time productive in my work. Maybe it's the cool temperature around when it's raining. Although I think prolonged rainy days would eventually dampen my mood also. I mean, one or two days of rains is okay. A week of continuous rains may not be anymore.
