A must win match for Chennai Super Kings!!

Double time defending champions CSK have had an up and down season so far. They are currently lying in the 5 spot in the table just outside the playoff position. Today they take on DC the bottom club and this is now a must win match for the Chennaites. How do you rate their chances? Cheers! Ram

Hi Ram, It is really a must win game for Chennai Super Kings.They need to get 2 points to stay alive in the tournament.Nearly 4 teams are fighting for the 4th position.MSD won the toss and elected to bat first.Batting first,Chennai scored 160 runs.Deccan Chargers have began their chase very slowly by losing one wicket.Chennai might have a chance because Hilfenhaus is in their team to take control of the bowling department.Hope Chennai wins the match as I am from Tamil Nadu.

I am worried about the dropping of the catch of Cameron White. How costly will it turn out to be in the final analysis. Already White is on 24 off 21 balls. Cheers! Ram

Actually that was a brilliant run-out all round. Dhoni's expression was as if the throw was not at his end and that he was disappointed. Cameron White probably was caught off guard by that and did not dive at the end. Cheers! Ram

It will definitely cost the Chennai Super Kings.White went onto score 77 runs from 53 balls.It really pulled off the match from Chennai but a brilliant run out by Jadeja helped CSK to steal the victory.

I also believe that it is a crucial match fro Chennai Super kings becuase they were in the 5th position and if they win the match they will enter to the top four teams having highest points. Finally the game had turned as my wish. Chennai had won the match by 10 runs.

Chennai Super Kings made 160 in there 20 overs, they surely can defend it but Deccan Chargers do have the batsman to chase that score but looking at the way DC has batted so far it s 50-50 chance for Deccan Chargers ...

Chennai has just picked up Parthiv Patel. Unfortunately, Albie dropped Cameron White of his first ball. We need to see if that proves costly. Cheers! Ram
