xD I'm sorry but anyone that researches this only a little bit knows that the Democrats are still far in the right wing of the political spectrum. Less so than the Republicans, that's true and you might think they're already too progressive, but don't compare it to communism. That just doesn't make sense.

It wasn't me making the comparison Cranos, it was Russian immigrants who experienced communisim first hand. Dems have moved a little to the left since Obama has become their messiah, or have you not noticed? Anyway, the whole left/right thing is a crock. Used to keep us all at each others throats amd confuse what is really going on.

True, but look at the current political parties in russia. They basically went from extreme left to extreme right. Anything that is more to the left than their views, which is almost every political party in the world, is considered left-winged.
It's the same in the US. The Democrats are considered left-winged because it's the most progressive party that actually stands a chance there, but in reality it's still very conservative.
The political spectrum is not designed to keep us at each other's throats, that's something politics will always do I'm afraid. In the first place it was designed to make sense of all the different political views. But I understand why you say it, considering America's aggressive campaign strategies.
With Obama it might have gone a little bit more to the left, but not by much. When compared to European parties it's conservative.

well, that I may be able to agree with you on. Europe is very left.
Where are you from Cranos? This is my first time seeing you around. Welcome.

A lot of people are alarmed at the similarities but what is even more worrying is how many people are embracing the cradle to grave government nanny. Have you seen the Julia thing about a little girl that is taken care of from birth to retirement by Obama's policies? It points out how Romney's policies would deny her those free benefits. The fact that we have people here that want to be told what to do every day of their lives is scary.

Yes, I first came upon it on twitter and was confused by what I saw. So I looked into it.
Once again, the people are not buying what Obama is suggesting, if twitter is any indication. You should have read some of the tweets. Making fun of 'Julia' and Obama's programs.
Are the progressives just that spoiled? I think of a kid who's been spoiled and when told NO by a parent in the store, throws a hissy fit. Embarrassing, but the parents own fault. Unfortunately, we all know what kind of person that kid grows up to be.
