Chennai beat DC to move into the 4th position in the points table. Batting first Chennai scored 160 off their 20 overs with Faf Du Plessis again top scoring and Raina also showing some return to form. Chasing 160, DC could only muster 150 runs of their 20 overs with Cameron White fighting a lone battle to take DC to a win. With this Chennai now resurrects their chances to play in the playoffs. Cheers! Ram

Chennai Super Kings won by 10 runs, I didn't see the match, but looking at the scorecard it seems Deccan Chargers put up a good fight to chase the target. As Chennai Super Kings is now at top 4 they wouldn't want to loose this position, let's see what happens in the end of the league stage ..

It was actually a one man chase. Cameron White kept DC in the chase. But he was dropped off the first ball by Morkel!! Cheers! Ram

Though the match appears close, but Chennai played better for most part and deserved the win. After putting up a decent score on the board, Dhoni marshaled his troops well on the field. Bowlers and fielders kept up the pressure. Deccan really could not break free and lost wickets as pressure kept piling. Spinners Ashwin and Jadeja bowled well and so did seamers esp. Ben Hilfenhaus who bowled really well the final over giving Chennai the win on their home ground. White though batted really well for Deccan without much support apart from Dhawan to an extent. Cheers!:)

I think with Bollinger being out of form this year, Hilf might hold the key for CSK. Remember the way the team really changed their fortunes once Bollinger had arrived two seasons ago. So may be this time it will happen with the arrival of Hilf. Cheers! Ram

Yes, it was a much improved batting performance. Though I still felt that they could have got at least 10 more runs. Cheers! Ram

It was good to see that Chennai won the match as it has made them move ahead and in this way only they have to win the matches then only they can move to the playoffs. As there is too much competition this time around and any one from behind can move to the playoffs.Du plessis have been playing good innings for Chennai and have scored 42 in this match and then raina nad dhoni made sure that they have something to bowl at.Deccan have been the team who is at the bottom from the start of the IPL and have not been able to win matches as they have won only 2 matches till now.And that too with so many worldclass players such as sangakkara,Steyn and white. The thing which is lacking is they dont have good Indian players.Chennai have mnade it to the 4th position but they should maintain this as they have so many teams surrounding them who can move ahead anytime.

Today is the big crunch game against Mumbai Indians. The winner will most probably make the playoffs. The match at this moment seems to be hanging in the balance. CSK are currently batting at 85-2 off 11 overs. Cheers! Ram

Yes, Indeed happy that Chennai had won it's home game after 2 continuous losses.! That was a great innings by Raina and Faf du plessis, and i also saw Murali Vijay being confident about his swinging of the ball to directions with three fours. But, he was a little fast and was expecting a six,but edged on to a catch.i loved Raina's innings, though it was just 32.He shot a 4,followed by 2 huge sixes which meant the power play-how-it-was-to-be-played. Then eventually after Raina's wicket and Faf du plessis fired for a six but he also was ended up with a catch.Deccan was poor in ts fielding,by dropping 3-4 catches of which one was du plessis' and the other-Bravo's.Thank god it proved to be a great one for Chennai.I hope Chennai will keep up to its position and come forward after 5 more. I want CSK to win! Roar for CSK! The lions yet again roar louder...

Yes, the batting was more confident. Murali did look better than when he started. Raina though not back to his fluent best, still was looking better than he has all season. So the batting is beginning to look a bit better. Cheers! Ram

Hi Ram, At last Chennai Super Kings won the match by 10 runs.A disciplined game from the CSK.They really held their nerve to defeat Deccan Chargers.Chennai's Top order batsmen laid a platform to score 180+. But it was not utilized by the middle order batsmen.Dhoni stood by scoring some runs while on the other side batsmen were struggling to score runs.Chennai really fielded well.I think fielding was the main reason for the victory.Deccan dropped Bravo who scored 12 runs from 4 balls in the last over to reach 160.A stunning catch by Raina and brilliant run-out by Jadeja sealed the victory for Chennai. They need to win at least 4 games in a row to keep up the momentum.

Yes, their finishing has still not really taken off. They seem to be struggling in the back end of the games and that is why they have ended up on the wrong side of some of the close matches. In previous seasons, they used to win those matches. Cheers! Ram

Yes, KKR beat PWI today by 7 runs. Dada did make an emotional return to Eden Gardens. Unfortunately, he could not get the job done for the away side. Cheers! Ram

Luck was with Chennai Super Kings this time. The run out by bravo and that awesome catch by Raina were the turning points of the game. I hope CSK wins this series.

Yes, CSK had some luck going for them. But DC helped them a lot by dropping catches all over the place. Cheers! Ram
