That silly thing that happens sometimes.

I was holding my phone for about a second then I went to get something outside the house for 10 seconds and left my phone in my room. When I went back to my room I forgot where my phone was but I could have sworn I know where it was.I searched the whole room for the thing but glad I seen it eventually.
Did you had the same experience as I did?You were holding an object for a second, you left it for a while then you're looking for it again and it's so hard find it!

Well sometimes it happens also to me but it was a long time ago and it happened when I had so much in my mind. I rarely forgot my belongings especially if it is a cellphone 'cause I always carry it wherever I go. I think I can understand myself if I forgot things like that if I am already at a senior age. I think if someone like you is experiencing like that there are some nutrients lacking in your body. I don't know what it is I cannot remember it. But you better take a vitamin that will supplement that deficiency.

Yes, I tend to be pretty forgetful at times and I understand how frustrating it can be. There even comes a time when I am almost tired looking for the thing I though I lost only to realize that I am already holding it on my hands. It's funny and annoying at the same time.

Don't be bewildered LushVelvet. I will leave the bedroom with the phone in my hand to do or get something, and then I stop as I can't remember what I wanted to do. Just yesterday my cell phone rang in my room, but I could not pick out the exact place where it was, and eventually the ringing stopped. When I did the vacuuming later I found the phone under the bed. Happens often, but then I'm 65, write ten hours a day, and I have Parkinson's. Keeping the brain active helps the memory and concentration enormously.

Always happen to me. I even experience searching for a stuff that I end up really pissed and then realized that it's just in my hand or in my pocket. It's really embarrassing at times and my siblings and I used to make fun of each other when that happens. We always tell the other that she has poor vision and need to wear eyeglasses bu the truth we're both already wearing one. :D

Hey, I have moments where I can't find my phone and I'm holding it in my hand! It's so easy to get distracted and have your mind move onto something else so that you completely lose track of the objects around you.

This is one reason we don't have a cordless phone, the other reason is that here in Britain I can't find one with big enough numbers for my husband to read them. My friend has a cordless phone and she also looks after other people's dogs. One afternoon she was talking to her daughter, put the phone down to get a recipe, and when she came back the phone was gone.
She heard a funny noise outside and suddenly realised one of the dogs was burying her phone! She got it back, but she said it never worked quite the same again as she couldn't get all the dirt out of it.

I got many times like you but not with a cellphone, it happens with my keys and my glasses. I remember i held the key and then put it on the table but after that i go to find my key and cant find anywhere. Then i told myself, i wouldn't find it more, it might be lost. 5~10 minutes later i could see it on the table, how silly i am...

Ooh yes, scenarios like that have happenned to me also. In many cases, the discovery of its location was done; much to my ammusement.
What is worse, whenever you are searching for the object you are looking for, and it is stationed exactly at the same place that you left it last; and someone else has to either get it for you, or point out its exact location for you. For example someone has to tell you that your glasses is placed on your head all the time that you were searching for it( as the glasses was always in the exact position that you left it originally).

I get distracted really easily and I'm pretty forgetful so this happens to me all the time. I also have a habit of picking up things while talking on the phone and then leaving them at the most random of places. I specifically remember one time while I was talking on the phone with my headphones for about an hour and suddenly I wanted to know what time it is and..I went looking for my phone(yes, the one I was talking with)...Most of the time easily distracted people have to be careful because occasionaly some important things like keys or documents or phones get lost and this can cause serious problems.
