Hmmm.. I don't think I've heard that line before, but if it does hmmm... Is it only applicable on snakes? because if it's applicable to everything, that's bad since I've killed a lot of mosquitoes last night!
Kidding aside, I think it depends on the scenario. I think they're talking about Karma. Perhaps when you intentionally harm someone (without defending yourself) then Karma comes to you.
Just like, what if the snake came into your home and then you are terrified it would bite your son/daughter? Then you have killed the snake in defense. But if you went out looking for it to kill it, then perhaps that's something else.
Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

vovandat I grew up in South Dakota where sidewinder rattlesnakes live and I have killed several just before they struck me and poisoned me. I have never had a snake pursue me and I do notgo around killing things except when its about to bite me and make
me deathly ill.i think you are talking about an urban legand
and I am not really worried.i am not a killer and I am a good
helpful peace loving person.

It is not a legend! The revenge of snake can explain by science. In the genitalia
female snake have a gland and release hormon. But I don't know exactly what the gland and what is hormon?

Nope. I dont believe it. There are some myths and legends in my country too on snake's revenge. But it is not true from the point of animal behavior or instinct. I have read a lot about snakes but have not found it anywhere.
Have a nice time.

that is an interesting story.
My son loves to catch snakes and he has caught many and checked them and even calmed them down. But he has never killed one.
Three years ago he caught a grey rat snake that lives in Florida and we took it to an exotic pet store and the man said it was of such good color for being out in the wild, he paid my son 20.00 for it.
We never caught it thinking about money. He was just going to put it in a ledger that he has that shows all he has caught.
I will have to tell him of your countrys saying.
He will get a kick out of it.

yes, you should tell her. People want to calm life, so they must do the same to animals. LOL

I have heard that too. That if you kill a snake others will try to get revenge .SO that in oder to avoid it,when we kill a snake we should separate its body from the hear and we should bury it.

Everything is retributive justice. I believe all the revenge stories. I think hatred is a very strong power, and the revenge is inevitable once the seed of hatred is planted.
