before we have to get in queue and wait for your turn to be in the front of queue to get to the teller to deposit or withdraw your money. but now i have just to go to the machine box, like an atm. i would just put in my bank account info by touching the screen, the amount and other into and after that a paper would be released out of the machine with my queue number. i just wait for my number flash on the small tv screen. then i will just give the money to the teller and the details would appear already on their computer. as i have already typed it beforehand on the box machine. so things are faster and more orderly. no need to write down things on paper and no need to write it down again when you made a mistake.

Is there something like that now? Where did you experienced that technology and what bank? It seems that banks now are really putting in the effort to give convenience on their client. This is a good thing! I really hate long lines in the bank that's why I do make transactions online. However, I still need to go in the bank for some kind of transactions and the line is really frustrating. Having such kind of a system can really boost the efficiency of banking!

i am talking about BPI. but we still have to wait for our turn to be called. as the machines is only meant to put our transaction details and not write it down on paper any more. but things do get more orderly and faster that way. but we still have to give the money to the teller and deposit the money into the machine.

Ahhh...Just minimizing time loss during encoding and communication with clients. But still, I think it can help to increase the efficiency of the banking system. It is a step towards decreasing time loss and keeping clients happy.

I wonder when it will be available in Canada where I live in Winnipeg, MB because we have a large population of old people here and when I have to go to the teller there is a long line up. Of course much could be because at most banks, you have to wait five days until the money deposited in the ATm is cleared. Mind you I do not like queses and I would rather get in,

I depend on the ATM and online banking so much today. Since it is always very crowded in the bank and I don't want to wait for a long time there. And here the ATM can also withdraw and deposit the money. Even if I have to transfer money to someone else, I can still finish it in the ATM and this is quite convenient.
I love China

The said transaction is already implemented last year. You can also pay your credit card via atm type machine (HSBC).
I remember when I first experience that, my boss asked me if I can deposit a check for her, I feel akward at first that I might input wrong number, but it turned out ok. It makes easier to deposit.. and paper less...

That's really cool, I hope the banks around here adapt that way soon. It's saves all the trouble and time.

That sounds like a quicker way to get things done and I am sure it makes it where they can get a lot more business done in a day. I don't do much of depositing money as I do direct deposit with work but when it comes to withdrawing I do so via the EFT machines at the register at grocery stores.
