KKR turned out a professional performance to beat Pune Warriors to move to 15 points and have one foot in the playoffs. Batting first, Gambhir lead KKR from the front scoring 56 and when he fell at the score of 112 after 12 overs, KKR looked on course for 180+ score. But, Pune fought back after his dismissal to restrict KKR to 150 of their 20 overs.
Chasing 150, PWI were in all kinds of trouble at 55-5 before Dada and Angelo Mathews led the fightback. Dada had one final hurrah at the Eden Gardens but again got out at the wrong moment and Pune could only manage 143 runs in the final analysis.
With this win KKR have one foot in the playoffs while Pune are more or less out of the running.
Cheers!

It was a great show from KKR as they had a great start from Gambhir and McCullam and they posted a score of 150.I think Pathan has been a bad choice for KKR as he has not been scoring good runs and he is not playing like he used to be.When Pune came to bat they were down at 55 runs and lost 5 wickets. In the middle it was good show from Gangully and Mathews and took the match so closer to win and then in the end they were short by 7 runs. Now Pune Warriors have to win all the rest of the matches to make it to the Plyaoffs.

Kolkata Knight Riders did a great job winning the match, the way Angelo Mathews started playing in the end I thought Pune Warriors might win it but it didn't go well.
Now Kolkata Knight Riders with 15 points have almost made there way to playoffs, league match ends in 20th May, lets see which 4 teams make it out of the league match ...

With the way Matthews was hitting the ball for sixes i thought PWI would pull of a win. But apparently KKR played better.
