Do you or your kids have a DS?

Nintendo's official recommendation for the 3DS and children is that it shouldn't be used by those younger than 6 years old. In addition, you should only play in 3D mode for 30 minutes at a time and then a break should be taken away from the console. It's not just children who can experience the side effects of 3D. My husband cannot use the 3D on my DS and has trouble watching 3DTV or 3D movies because the graphics give him severe headaches and his eyes take a long while to adjust, he still suffers hours after watching. I personally don't have much trouble, but that's because my eyesight is terrible anyway! I wouldn't recommend them for children. My favourite DS games are any of the Pokemon series. I particularly like HeartGold because of the Pokewalker - you can train up your Pokemon by transferring them to a tamagotchi-like pedometer and the more you walk, the more your Pokemon levels up and it can find items in the virtual grass! I love the original Pokemon games too, but on DS you can only play the Game Boy Advance versions such as LeafGreen (unavailable on 3DS by means of cartridge as it has no slot).

my all time favorite POKEMON and MARIO BROs. i have NDS my brother has 3ds it really hurt my eyes, but the good thing is you can turn off the 3d if you dont want to play with 3d screen and adjust the screen 3d just right for you. :)
