Prom Photos and other Senior stuff

My son is going to his senior prom. He did not attend last year and so this is his only one. He will be graduating this year. I cannot believe how the years have flown!
There were so many details to be worked out. Picking up the tux, going to the florist. And then there were the photos! We spent an afternoon with several other parents, snapping photos at a friend's house. So much fun! The kids were hamming it up!
Are your kids going to prom this year? Did you go to prom when you were a teen? Any fun memories?

It sounds like you have been experiencing exciting times with your son and his last year in the high school.
I did attend two proms when I was in the high school. I went during my junior year and also during my senior year. I remember how surprised I was at how much I enjoyed my junior prom. I really wasn't expecting to enjoy it, but went along with it anyway since I was invited. It was so much fun and I couldn't wait until the following year. I also enjoyed the dancing even though I was worried that I would look like a fool since I didn't know what I was doing. But it was all so much fun! That's my biggest the memory of it.
Two of my children have experienced prom so far. They seem to enjoy it and we have snapped lots of the photographs!

I have no kids, but I did go to senior prom. Me and some friends went as we were all single, and I remember us going to pick out the dress and really how much fun it was.
We spent the night in a hotel and just talked all night afterwards.
