I woke up not feeling good this morning, too many problems, most of them are money related. You know how stressful it is managing a small pharmacy business here that's built on credit. Checks' due dates are nearing, and sales are low. Soooo stressful!
But you know, someone turned on a radio and played some music, music that are familiar to me, so I started singing. And when I started singing, things started to feel good. I started feeling good.
I can't explain exactly what are the health benefits of singing, all I know is, when I started to sing, I started feeling good. And now, I feel good today. I can't explain it. Can you do it for me? Why do we feel good when we sing? Do you feel the same?

I never feel good when I sing, also not when I listen to music.
I feel way better if I can stay or sit in peace without any noises.. burning some essence. So I think you are the only one who can answer this question. Why do you feel good when you sing?

Well, you must be feel good at singing and the melody makes you forget about the pain. However, try to think another way,if we do not have music.Life does continues and we still need a good attitude toward everything. So attitude does really matters.I do have something really bothers me,anyway, only ourselves could help.

Gracee is right on the idea of more oxygen, that is part of it. Also, music by passes the logical part of your brain and just works on the emotions. I bet if you sang sad songs you would get gloomy. Music works directly on your feelings and lets you feel good.

When I felt sad I turn my iPod on and put it on a dock with speaker and I set it on dancing music so it will set my mood on energy. Happy songs and happy music makes me alive.

it could be that when we sing, our effort to breath is twice than our regular breathing. Oxygen helps us alleviate our stress.
