It is complicated for me because me and my husband were staying in an apartment well a few of them and my mother had clled us to move in their house due to my grand mas sickness she has had a lot of heart problems so now we have been in this house for over a year and we pay the rent here and all bills and we will eventually buy the house because my parents don't want to loose it but there are times I wish I was still in an apartment because it it a lot of work to do, the yard and more cleaning But as time goes by maybe I will get used to it? I have heard the one the maids house is never clean and the mechanics car is never fixed but hey it's life. And I say to you if you want something bad enough don't give up good things will come your way So good luck out there and like I said don;t give up my friend God and Life work in mysterious ways. I will pray for you Have a great day.

Having my own house is my dream ever since, which is my parent don't have. That is also I'm sad that they did not manage to have at least one for me since I'm the only one child they have. I ask them about it why when I was young they did not buy any piece of land or house for me on the future, which I know they can because they have a good and nice job. I can't imagine how many houses we already transfer since I grew up even now I'm still renting and I hope someday I can buy for my children that I can leave with them.

Before we got married, me and my wife already decided to acquire our own house. We saw a subdivision near our work place (we are working in Caloocan area that time). It is located in a nearby province. When we got married, our house was already built but needs some modification for security purposes.
We had to get our own home since renting an aparment for the two of us will cost a lot especially in the metro area. Furthermore, even you rented it for how many years, it will not be yours. So we decided to have our own to be paid for 10 years. Until now, we are still paying for our house, we only got 6 more years before we finally call it ours.
Just be patient and you will have your own house too.

Yes my friend, save money for down payment and the rest a share from regular source of income and after several years of paying monthly your dream house will all be yours forever.
Thanks for responding my friend..

Hello friend,
You will have your dreams come true friend, you are right don't lose your hope.I believe you can.
As for me, I tried to invests a house five years ago and that I already have my own house now. But sadly I'm not staying there right now I used to travel for my job and so I don't usually enjoy my own investment.I spend a lot of time in travel.Honestly I just can go back to my home once every year. And I can stay for only a few weeks or month longer.
Anyway friend, there are lots of benefits having a house of your own.And that would ease the burden of paying the rent..And I know you can have it soon, I will keep you in my prayer that he may GIVE your hearts DESIRE.
Take care always..Blessed sunday!

Whoa! I appreciate you for having your own my friend. I envy. Do you believe in the saying that goes " a carpenter has no house of his own", "a tailor has no good clothes of her/his own"? I hope not, because if you do so, I am afraid I couldn't ever to have my own..hope you got the logic..but, I am super doper positive I could have it, may it be as beautiful as yours but I would really make it sure IT WOULD REALLY MINE and MINE ALONE...
Oh by the way who lives in your house? Did you do some renting on it?
Nice Sunday my dear...

You make my day friend! I laughed so hard yeah..
I don't believe in that sayings I believe on this "IF THERE's A WILL, THERE's a WAY".
You will have your own house as beautiful as mine but I agree with you should have one and that will be yours ALONE..and your family included.
My house I didn't rent to somebody friend.I'm afraid there will be some problems arise while I'm away and my mom can't handle, it she getting old now and 4 hours away from her house either. And beside it might cause some damage on it so I just let someone to look after it and do the maintenance daily.
Happy Sunday too friend!

Unfortunately I rent. If you added all the rent I've paid I could have bought a small house by now.
I hate renting because you never actually own it. I've been trying to save up for a house it's just so hard. Getting that down payment is a tough one. Once I get it though I can get a house and the mortgage wouldn't be that much more than the rent I'm already paying.
I'm also looking around for a "rent to own" place. I don't know if they have those in your area, you should give it a look. There are a few around me but they aren't what i'm looking for.

I hate renting too but I guess mot of us start from renting a house right. So the lesson here even how hard is to keep saving up so that we can buy the house we wanted and we stop renting anymore. There is such comfortable to live with with your very own house.

My husband and I live in our own house. We moved in a year and a half ago and we are very happy to live in our own house today, because in the past we always lived in rented apartments. If has been quite difficult for us to buy a house. Before we found the house where we live today we looked at a couple of other houses and we talked to the bank several times, but every time they said no because think didn't think that our monthly income was sufficient to buy a house.
A year and a half ago we found the house where we live now. It is a semitached houses and it wasn't quite as expensive as the other houses we were interested in. We were very nervous when we went to the meeting in the bank and we were afraid that they would say no again, but this time we finally got a yes and we were really happy.

Hello friend,
All of us have this dream of owning a house some day and I am no exception. However, I am from a middle class family and have just started off with my professional career. Hence, it will take me some time to get there. Till then, I am happy to be staying in a rented house and sharing it with my friends.

My husband and I have been pretty lucky, we own our home (mortgaged). For a while we did rent out a room to a friend, just enough to pay off our home equity loan. We hit a few financial bumps in the road, but never to the point where we were afraid of losing our house, just had to impose some austerity measures on the home front.

Well, I lived for 17 years rent. Then having received the eviction, me and my family, we were forced to buy a house. He ran the year 1992. For 13 years we lived in a small apartment, perhaps too much for our needs. So in 2005 we decided, with a financial sacrifice to buy a bigger house, where everyone now has the room is, and therefore his personal space.

Yes in your case you must really find a little bigger place to accommodate everything. Having a house of your own is not like buying a hot cake, it must be at the right time and the right place and I know that will be done someday in your family.

Smart thinking my friend unlike some other people who until now just keep on renting without calculating how much already money they spend renting. They never knew the accumulated amount (for renting) could be enough to buy a new one.

Our building is 73 years old but still in a good condition.I was born and brought up in it and still living there.I pay a very low rent and do not own the house as it belongs to a Trust. Our landlord who is also the trustee had plans to redevelop the property and we would be given a new building with larger apartments and mainly the house would become our own.Unfortunately the entire thing fell through so its back to square one.Maybe in the future it will happen and i will be able to stay in my own house.
