How do you celebrate 100 years

In a months time my Mother in law will be 100 years old. We are getting some family members together to join her for a couple of hours with niblet food but too long will tire her. She is fit and at 99 years old had a hip replacement. Here in England she will receive a birthday card from the Queen. Does the head of your country send anything to people who reach 100 years old?

I don't know anyone who is 100 years old so I can only ask you this: does she like to celebrate it at all? How were her other birthdays? Do you know what she likes, how she is, what she appreciates or ever did like to do on her birthdays? People seldom celebrate it the way they like or are allowed to skip it if they don't like to celebrate it.

although for 100 she is in good health, her sight and hearing is not as it used to be but she loves phots of family so we are thinking of getting a large one of all of us on it for her. by the time you reach 100 you have usually got everything you want lol

I don't know. I think the President used to, I'm sure he still does, but I don't know anyone at the moment who is or will be 100.
