I've heard that chamomile tea is great to drink at that "time of the month." I tried this once and it actually did help with PMS symptoms. Has anyone tried any other types of tea that helps them with anything?

For PMS, I find that sage tea works really well! My former co-worker used to have digestive issues a lot, and he always made tea from oregano (just boiled water and added oregano seasoning). I like to make ginger tea for digestive issues as well as colds. I just mix it with lemon for more Vitamin C and flavor.

Chamomile tea makes my nose itch, since its in the family of ragweed. I hear that mint teas, especially peppermint can help. However, I didn't normally get cramps when I was younger and I'm pass that age now.

I've always loved tea, particularly green and oolong. In the past, I drank not just 2 or 3 cups a day but at leas a pot. It actually helped be maintain my weight. Ever since I went into law school, however, too much instant coffee at night and not much tea contributed to my increase in weight. When I entered law school, I was 140 pounds. Now, I'm 190. It's only now that I've been able to drink tea regularly again. Hopefully, I'll go back to 140 after I graduate -and that's only a couple of months away.

I like chamomile tea, but it doesn't really affect me I think. I found that when I drank lemongrass tea it helped with the cramps and made me sleep better. Black tea is just the opposite.

I love chamomile tea. Yes, it soothes menstrual cramps. I like having chamomile tea before bedtime I always have a better sleep, and when I have colds, chamomile tea is good also since it has anti bacterial. I love adding honey on it also to add flavor. :-)
