mylot is very slow

MyLot was down for many hours one day this week. Now it is working again but there are still several errors. Notifiers are not arriving and sometimes the pages are not loading. Just be patient and myLot will eventually sort everything out and make it work perfectly again.

Nope I haven't had any issues but ti should be just your computer. People that have slow internet normally means your cookies you need to be cleaned out and your internet history as well.

Hello Prashu, I have been away from here for quite a long time. I've been back only past week or so and I didn't find any such problems. May be it was once in a blue moon thing, giving trouble in some areas. If you are able to browse other websites fast then it is probably a problem with the website but I'm sure it won't last long. Cheer up :)

Mylot has periodic problems on a regular basis. Nothing ever seems to get fixed. Every update arrives with no visible changes. You'll get used to it over time. No, it isn't just you. Mylot is naturally slow compared with many other sites.

Well, I admit I agree with you on that question, actually, Mylot is a site a little slow. I do not know exactly what the cause, but I suppose that, for all our access to Mylot, many data are loaded, the server that the site is probably one in the world, has to manage more than 200,000 clients. This could be for my knowledge such explanation.

Mylot was down for sometime.But it is fixed.And i wouldn't say that mylot is slow.my internet connection is not so fast but mylot doesn't have any problem loading here.

Hi there prashu228! I do experience this slow loading in myLot only when I use the internet connection here in the office. If I use other internet connections like the one I have at home, I do not really have problems with myLot. Even if I use my broadband stick which I bring just in case wiFi is not working in the office or if wifi is not available in the places I go to, I do not have problems with myLot.

hi prahu mylot does load slow bu t here in C alifornia its better Thanhit was. mylot was downright sick the other night runtime errors all night and not loading at all. today she is a tad slow but not really bad. she has been ill with some glitches but hopefully mylot is still repairing things. we are missing getting our friends discussions notifications, we only get responses and comment on our own discussions. so its not our computers but my lot illnesses that are slowing down things.mylot admins will have to resolve it nothin we can do so do not wo rry prashu

No something was wrong with mylot these few days, I also experiencing it, don't worry it get back to normal already. You may experience this from time to time.

i noticed it's been so slow and then i couldn't get on the past few days and that there was an error. i felt bad because i can hardly be here anymore because of work and my only free time is either at night or weekends. i am glad it seems okay now

mylot is here is still ok, i don't get any problem with mylot also. I think the problem maybe your internet. If the internet is slow then connecting to mylot is slow too.

I had an error a couple of days ago, about server error application but the next day it was gone. I'd also agree with you about myLot, it really takes time before we could access the site and also the discussions and even when we respond to comments and all. I just really hope that myLot could improve and develop solution to this. Waiting so long for it to load is pretty fine when it would only happen once in a while, but that's not the case in here right? I think this happens and and we encounter the problem in a daily basis. I do experience this in some website that I visit regularly, but it only happens when the site is under maintenance and all. I really do hope myLot would take notice of this and it would be great if they would be able to come up with something to help us and their own site too. It's a win-win situation anyway, we myLotters would enjoy and participate more if we can access the pages easily, and they would earn a better reputation and of course there would be more discussions in their sites too. *evil thoughts*(or maybe that's the reason why it's slow, so we wouldn't be able to discuss more and they wouldn't have to pay the myLotters a lot). LOL!

Yes Mylot is quite slow as compared to other sites, few things you have to take care for fast and better browsing on mylot. Get high speed internet connection anywhere from 512kbps to 2 mbps. Enable browser cache in order to save loading of pages from server side. Try opening multiple links in multiple tabs, so while you are working on one, the other gets loaded. these are couple of steps i follow to fight slow loading problem. hope this help. Thanx
