I don't think it is better to have a trip there at summer season becuase the climate will be too hot and you feel very bored to walk under hot sun. If you fixed all you plans then you need not to change it. From there you could have a lot of variety dishes even the Chinese food and I think it very bad when you miss them. Try to taste some of them. I think you will love it. I wish you and your family a wonderful journey.

The best time to go to Goa is in the rains if you don't mind drenching here and there. We have been there a few times and the best I enjoyed was when we went there in the rains. The beaches look clean and the entire area lush green. There are fewer tourists and the hotels give deep discounts.

Hi Manasha, I've been to Goa a few times and I would straightaway want to advice you that this is probably the worst time to plan a trip there. It would be annoyingly humid and sweaty. Mostly people visit there between Sep to Feb (with Dec being the peak season). Anyways, if you've made up your mind to go, I won't discourage you. If you like seafood you'll like the place a lot. They also have excellent chinese/thai/continental restaurants. In places to visit, I'd suggest beaches such as Calangute, Baga, Vagator (these are the famous ones and usually crowded, but won't be at this time). Apart from that, I liked Arambol, Anjuna, Morjim and Paolim as they are the so called "off the track" beaches so lesser crowd is there. There is FABR - Fort Aguada Beach Resort as well. I hope this information helps. Feel free to message me if you have more queries. Have a nice trip.
