I usually study after 11 p.m. which I guess is not a good idea but this is practically the only time of the day/night that I have free but it's OK since I usually sleep for only about 5 hours a night so I also have some time to study in the mornings before I go out. There have been times that I went for 2 days with about 3 hours of sleep while studying for a very important test. Also, wow you like maths?I always admire people who understand them, let alone like them...

i just love the subject maths and to score a 100/100 i can go to any limits...
i am a bit good in it, and i start helping people wherever they ask for my help, be it in school, in street anywhere, i just understand it...

I can't even comprehend how does that work because to me math is about as clear as a mist, but I'm good in languages and literature so I compensate...

i used to study my lessons from 2 am to 5 am since it's not noisy and nobody could annoy me.. but yes, i sometimes go beyond that, i continue studying my lessons on the bus everytime i am heading to school :))

you must have good sleep for at least 7 hours before getting up at 2 am. if you do that then it is fine. otherwise one's health may be affected for lack of sleep.
best wishes

but while i'm paiting i'll foget time totally.
many times i thought it past 2 hours, but actually 7 hours, i can sit there painting without nature's calling, drinking, eating...for long time. it's cool.
however it can happened when play the computer. it's terrible.

well, from my experience burning the midnight oil is long term not a good option , rather it is better to study consistency and smart studying , rathing then pushing to the limit and then off into the abyss or jump of the cliff.I got friends who burn the midnight oil founding themselve sleeping off during the exams, ringing in the ear and just shut down and forget everything during the exams because of fatique and tired mind.

dawn --
Good. You studied for a longer time -- from 8 pm to 7 o clock next day morning. that is really nice. I have never studied like that. I use to study upto maximum 11 pm.

when I study, i usually do it 8pm - 11pm .And i end up sleeping when I got bored in studying. It resulted to low scores especially in MATH.

There was one time when I was studying continuously from 7pm to 9am... that was horrible (fortunately I could have some sleep because the exam itself was in the afternoon)... but there were some other occasions when I didn't sleep before the exam, and I got kind of used to it, so I can function for 2 days without sleep okay.
