Girl child aborted / killed at birth do you encourage this?

I don't know what country is that but we have to remind ourselves all the time that killing is a mortal sin and we do not have the right to take away one's life.. why did they planned to have a child if after all they will only let it be aborted.. again, every child must not be deprived of life.. they have the right to live here on earth no matter what happen.. and they must be.. it's only GOD who could take our lives..

hi prashu I hope to God it does not happen in the USA as that is just dreadful. those who do not want children use birth control but nobody kills their new born baby just because it is a girl. this in inhumane and its murder too.

Although here most families don't care about whether the babies are boys or girls. They are the same. However, in some poor places in my country, some families still prefer to have boys. And therefore some babies will be aborted because of the One Child Policy. They have ultra sound scanning and if they find that the babies are girls, perhaps they will just have the abortion because they prefer to have boys much more. They can't have one more chance because of this stupid One Child Policy. And this is why the doctors will not tell you whether you have a boy or girl when you have the ultra sound scanning.

poor baby girl. that is a crazy thing to practice and what these parents believed and did. but there is nothing we can do, if that is the mind and belief of such people. maybe that is only in your country's culture or some others..we don't have that kind of belief or practice here..

I think this practice of killing of girlchild is prevalent mostly in my country,where hefty dowry has to be paid.I have a solution to this,parets are under the illusion that the son will take care of them in old age,only women are gifted for caringand bonding with the old,a daughter can look after her parents better than a daughter-in-law so why not give away sons instead of daughters in marriage.

hello prashu228 This is really horrible...abortion is a crime under the law of human and law of God. Whatever their reasons are they're still wrong. In my country it's illegal. It's strictly prohibited but it's sad to say other people can do it secretly..

A girl baby is just as lovely as a baby boy. I think it is horrible to abort during pregnancy or kill the baby girl at birth. It is inhuman activity and should be stopped. If in 20 years time there are 20 per cent ladies and 80 per cent men then many men won't find a wife. It does not matter if the surname continues. I have an adorable little girl and a lovely boy. Both of them are equally loved and well cared for. For a family the best thing is to have a girl and a boy.

This is a deplorable practice, unfortunately practiced a lot in India. People are coming out in large numbers against this practice. And the unfortunate thing is that this is done and followed more by richer and more educated people, who in fact should be telling and advising other people against doing so.

hi, in the earlier time the country of China have that policy,and they called it one child policy,so when a mother will give birth they will killed it especially girl babies,they raised boy child rather than girl child,and they did that policy to avoid massive population of that country.

I had heard about this cruelty many times but I hadn't seen this in my country. Most consider this as very simple because they don't know the value of a human being. I wounder why the people make unwanted pregnancy. There are many institutions available in our country to save the children who are hated by their parents.

I am totally against aborting babies just because she is born as girl. However, if possible, or if the law or practice of killing girl newborn can not be lifted, better abort at early stage. Don't wait till birth. That's killing and murder.

Hi, It is evil deed. If everyone wants boy child then to whom boys will marry and who will give birth to boys. aborting girl child is very bad and evil deed and for this God will punish those people who kill baby. Some women are also ready to do this. It is very surprising.

i hate dowry system and also girl is the great human being of the world for the child sake and if the girl not there is no human being on the earth. i support for the girl life and education.

I think that if a child is going to be aborted, then it should be early in the pregnancy when the mother is less than three months along. To me, anything after six months is certainly murder because that baby is already a baby.

no, here in the u.s. we do have abortion which i don't agree with anyway. i think its murder because when you look at it for what it really is then of course its murder. the abortion in my country has limits though. one can't have an abortion if they are already too far into the pregnancy.

Hello. Who are these barbarians? Statistically speaking they are more apt to have a girl I think. Where do you live anyway? What do they want a bunch of men running around half sexually crazed because their are no women? A society with no women! Smart bunch those are.

I was really shocked first when I heard about this. Perhaps because I associate the country with non-violence. It is not only a cruel thing to do, but I wonder what the men who remain without wife, so the look for one somewhere else, or it leads to more violence... I hope the families who do this realize that girls are precious with little or no dowry too and stop this. But I can imagine that in this economical situation people start doing it in other countries too. It is totally inhumane
