How do you manage paying your bills?
Most of us hardly spent hours to work and work to earn money for the family and for all the expenses on the house.
Our life today has large difference from the past now we have many payments on hand. Internet connection bills, electric bills, water bills, phone bills, house rent etc. and etc. The above mention are only basic that we usually pays every month. But sometimes our wage is not enough to pay those bills, but it's necessity we can't live without it, well internet and phone bills can live without it. But the others how if we only earn enough for food. Sometimes we have to borrow from friends and sometimes we skip paying bills is a month and pay it on another month.
I know most of the foreign countries they used credit cards for paying their bills not like here in my country only few accept credit card for paying. But still they have to earn to pay them.
How do you mange to pay those bills? Do you skip months, or you borrow money from others? Is there another way to pay bills on time that will not harm too much of your budget?

We can never avoid these bills to come every month.
Unless we're a stock holder with water and electric company...

Sometimes we end up paying late, or we take on extra jobs just to stretch the money a little further. I know that is not an option for everyone either.

Hubby is old enough to be retired, but we work at a lot of little jobs to extend his early retirement benefits. I wanted to try to make most of my money online, but I have two little jobs that are very part time as well. I may plan to find a "real job" after my newest grand child arrives and I take a trip many states away to see my daughter.

A good rule in life is: Everything in moderation. Even buying. Whether it is going grocery shopping or clothes shopping. If your wage is not enough to pay your bills then perhaps you need another job or some help somewhere. Are you able to pay your base bills with what you make? By base I mean food, rent, utilities. Credit cards are the devil's work shop. They get you addicted to having them and spending money you basically don't have. Then you pay way over what you actually spent to get the credit card payed off. I would not start on them. Bad idea. Skipping months, barrowing from others or credit cards are all no nos. Living within your means is the answer. Get a roommate, live with less or whatever. Saving money to pay for big ticket items is a smart thing to do. Paying cash for things can sometimes get you a good deal. If all else fails pail you priority bills first. Rent and other responsibilities should always come first. Prioritizing until you get things under control financially will help you stay on top of your responsibilities. If you can't pay cash for it you don't need it. The extras that is.

And set goals for those things that are not necessary. We all need to have some unnecessary stuff in our lives.

I know what you mean lyn, it is hard to juggle one payment to another and i am keeping my best to make it work out which is hard and often times i get exhausted..but there are times when i cannot keep up with it, i do borrow from my mom who would actually lend me.. but sometimes we got to find means, extra income is helpful as well.

I am living with my parents right now because Randy has a serious foot condition and cannot work. We are fighting for disability and are hoping and praying that he will be able to get it. We are both in college and are trying so hard to save most of our financial aid money so we can eventually move out. The only bills we have are car insurance and we do give a portion of our money to my parents to help them out. I have some old debt that I would love to take care of and am hoping that we can take care of it soon. Our debt is somewhere around 2000.00 and as soon as I can I will be talking and trying to negotiate out debt.

lynboobsy carefully and by stretching out what little money I have
to work with and some have to wait, but eventually they all get paid. I h ave now just fifty left on the ambulance bill that was
150 so am getting somewhere on that. I keep my forty dollar and 99 cent cable net bill paid and my landline phone for 7 dollars.
now I have a magazine subscription due for 28 but they will get paid first then for things i might need social security and ssi
go at the first of each month to pay for room and board.amd I get
what is left over to pay for other things. so mylot earnings are really most helpful I do not borrow money or to I have a credit
card, i use mydebit card to pay some bills. My medication bill is going to have to wait til june probably

My husband and I have enough money to pay our bills every month. When we wanted to borrow money to buy a house the bank refused to lend us the money unless we had at least $1000 left very month. We needed money for the mortgage and the monthly bills and when we had paid those things we there had to be at least $1000 left. My husband's income and my income weren't enough, so we took an extra job and then the bank was safisfied and agreed to lend us the money. If we hadn't had money for all of the bills and the extra money that they required they would have said no. As a result we always have enough money to pay the bills.

The worst really is when our bills are high but the wage is low. Some bills will be skipped and it adds another interest. And worst if any of our connections will be uninstalled, like internet connection, how will I live without it. :-)

Sometimes the income which we earn each day may not satisfy our needs. Some people are not able to pay their bills. I find it is quite difficult to pay bills in my life. Sometimes I feel it is very big which I can't afford. In such cases I used to lend some money from my friends and pay those bills. This is what I usually does when I have large bills.

managing bills have been most tedious task for me till now, i have around 15 + bills to pay at end of the month, starting from phone bills, broadband bills, credit card bills, hosting bills, various services, memberships, subscription and much more. Sometimes i wonder if i forget to pay any one out of them, i will be facing huge loss.
Since managing bill is very difficult task, one should not do it manually, let the things go automated and you check the statements and alerts. For this i have synchronized things in such a manner that, my most of the bills get auto debited from my net banking account or credit card whenever the new bill is generated, i just see the statements every month and sit back.
