I could see nowadays that the world keeps getting smaller as Orientals and Westerners merge into one global community. How do you view foreigners, especially those from countries which colonized yours?

This is true .. In the presence of modern means of communication and the most important Internet , become the world like a small village and people from all over the world know each other ,particularly in social sites, either for my view of foreigners, it is normal unless offend to my religion or or to my country, and see to the British is also the same view

good to hear that, what's the most important there is that we should always have to build a good relationship to everybody to maintain peacefulness.

There is a great difference between empire/regime that once colonized yours land and the foreigners that had nothing to do with the colonization program except born and live in that land. I personally wouldn't blame a foreigner just because he/she is a British, Spanish, Portugese, French or Japanese base on the fact that he/she so happened to be a citizen of a former colonist power now. As for example, a present day Spanish or his descendant in the year of 2012 has nothing to do with the colonization of Phillippine in the past one hundred and shouldn't be hold responsible for all the destruction in your land and the suffers that ensured. I will still treat a foreigner with basic courtesy and manner, continue to render him some respect like the way i like him /her to treat me even though his country is a former colonist master of my country, there is no reason for me to treat him differently due to the fact that he is no more guilty than anyone else.

Im happy we get new people into our country, however; I'm not too happy about how they are handed everything on a golden platter here. Yet if we were to merge over there we;d be shot and peed on without a second thought. We have to follow their rules and laws, how come they don;t have to follow ours? I don't mean to sound like a jerk, as I do love learning their ways, and such.. So are the rumors true? Do they get a new house, car, and money from our government when they move here? Or are ppl just telling me this to get me not to like them?

Hi Edison, Great curiousity! Its nice to associate and interact with Foreigners for they teach you a lot of things seems impossible for you to know if you travel to their place. Since, they already stayed for a long time in their country they have interesting information you can't gather following a short tour like having a tour Spain. Spain colonized Philippines for over 3 decades, therefore interacting with Spanish Foreigners will allow as to discover the roots of some of our practices, culture and ethnicity.

absolutely.. therefore, we don't need to have the feeling of hatred towards our fellowmen no matter what their ancestors have done to us before.. Forgiveness is the key to Peacefulness :))
