will you sacrifice your happiness for others?

Not up to this time , but in feature if there will be any situation for which i have to sacrifice for my family , then i will do that .

Absolutely NOT. I believe it's important that we care for ourselves first and persue our own happiness so others might follow in our footsteps. Whether or not we are happy from within is contagious. If we choose to sacrifice happiness for others our loved ones will suffer because they might also sacrifice for others. I feel it's a mistake to do that. One of the greatest things we do for our loved ones is to claim and radiate happiness.

there are times that this happens.. i feel like i am doing this...i have children and there are stuff,things,events that i need to sacrifice for them. there are likes, own luxuries that i need to sacrifice for them but then not necessarily my happiness as seeing them, my children happy, makes me happy amidst sacrificing myself.

I guess in any relationship there is sacrifice for the other party happiness . Like if children , the parents have to sacrifice they own happiness for children food health care and also tuition money for better future.Sometime have to sacrifice own time to spent time with gf wife or children. It is other people happiness and needs is now more important than self.

yes I will do that for I love my family more than I love myself. It will surely kill me to see them suffer than me. I would rather be in a painful situation than to see them having it. If every people will only care for their own, then that is a selfish thing to do and I couldn't consider that as way of expressing our love for others. Love is not selfish so if we really love others we should be able to sacrifice our own happiness. If our decision will hurt our love ones, I think it is better to let the sacrifice fall to a one or two persons that includes me than to involve many people.

Yes, sometimes, we need to give way and sacrifice our happiness for others to be happy.It is really sad but fulfilling and at the start of the sacrifice we do not yet notice its significance but then little by little we will realize that we just did the right thing.

i dont know.. sometimes i do it without realizing. The issue is not sacrificing happiness but sacrificing small things.. and i think it does not make anyone unhappy.

I do sacrifice my happiness for others in small things. But when it comes to Love, I don't know. I love my parents a lot but at the same time I can't betray a girl who trusts me and loves me from the bottom of her heart! That's not sacrifice.... that's betrayal! I can't do that!! In my case, I may not have any problem as I'm damn sure I can convince my parents.. and moreover I'm not in love

Maybe, yes if it is reasonable. Sometimes I sacrifice my own happiness for others. Seeing them happy will make me feel happy too.
