Adsense is hard to get approve?

I am thinking about putting Adsense in my blogs, currently I have two blogs, one written in English, the other written in Mandarin. I just started about one month ago, both websites has around 12 posts, every post over 500 words. Topics are varied, from life, chinese learning, work from home topic and etc. I wonder can I get approve by the amount of articles I have now? or I should wait a little bit to apply, thank you so much.
