To lose weight and I have achieved about 7 pounds loss. However this morning I happened to see myself in the mirror, always a mistake, and I swear I looked about 7 months pg. I do squats, and lunges to firm my gut but it doesn't look like it is working much. Old age I guess.

I have not gotten on a scale in about three months. It is strange that the weight and the "dunlap" disease come on so easily and are so hard to get rid of. My tummy done lap over my belt a bit so I look pg as well.

If I have heard that done lap phase before it was so long ago I forgot. So thanks for the laugh, I'll make sure to pass it on. Pat

I think it is a redneck thing. I am hoping the summer activity will help. Glad to make anyone smile.

Exercise is paramount for getting rid of that belly fat - I am in the same boat. Despite losing 1st in 3 months, most of the remaining problem fat is on my stomach and thigh. Just keep eating well - the more colourful your dinner plate the better - and stay motivated. The seven pounds you have lost is a great achievement, but remember sometimes weight loss can actually be a loss of muscle than fat, so it could be an idea to monitor your weight using body fat analysers (in most pharmacies and gyms) to check out whether you're moving in the right direction. Don't give up!

You do a great job already. Don't press yourself too hard, exercising and eating healthily are the way to go. Don't worry you will be fine.
