How far can the Celtics go?

I am a pretty big Celtics fan, so I am going for the championship. I know I am biased so I was wanting to get some more opinions. I know we are going to finish the Hawks with out much trouble. We can probably finish the 76ers in round 2 in game 5 or 6. But the real trouble is going to be in the conference finals against the Heat, unless a miracle occurs and they get upset by the Knicks in 7 games or the Pacers in round 2.

I am a Celtics fan, too. A big one, to be exact. If they can get past the 76ers (which I believe they will), they will either be playing the Heat or the Pacers. I think it will be a bigger struggle for them against the Pacers, as they beat up the Heat all season and there is something about the Celtics the Heat just dont like. Say the Heat move on to play the Celtics. If the Celtics win that series (which they will), they will head to the 2012 NBA Finals. They will either be playing the Spurs or the Thunder in the Finals. I believe they'll be playing the Spurs, which unfortunately, I think they'll lose. In the end, they will make it to the Finals in my opinion, which is pretty amazing.

They will not get past the Thunder if they make it to the Championship game. Which they will not get to because of the Heat.

I'm pretty sure that it will come down to the Celtics and the Heat in the Eastern conference finals but don't give up hope so easily. I do think that the Celtics could beat the Heat for a good amount of reasons. Kevin Garnett will be the most dominant big man on the court easily, he will be able to get a lot of rebounds and he will be able to play incredible defense like he always does. Paul Pierce is more clutch than both Dwayne Wade and LeBron James put together, and if the Celtics can go up at some point in the series all of the announcers will be harping on the Heat like they did last year and I see the Heat crumbling really easy. Paul Pierce is having some knee problems which can be a problem for the Celtics. Avery Bradley is a great defender and could really bother Dwayne Wade but in the end we'll have to see.

I agree with you. The biggest obstacle the Celtics will face is against Miami possibly in the East finals. And if ever they march to the finals, they will also be facing either OKC or SAS. Honestly, I think Celtics will lose Game 6 against Heat in East finals.

I think the Celtics can beat the 76ers but they are going to get tired doing it unless they can finish them in a short series. They have a chance against the Heat if they beat the Sixers in five. If they go longer I think the Heat will beat them and advance to the final. I think the Heat will handle the Pacers without too much trouble. If the Pacers had a dominant centre I might think otherwise. Hibbert just doesn't impress me much. In the west I think it is going to be between the Spurs and OKC. I think the Lakers have the talent but they come out flat too often and you can't get away with that in the playoffs. They're going to a game seven with Denver and that should not have happened. Can't take a few games off like that and expect to be champions.

I think the reason why a lot of people don't like the Lakers so much is because of the many negative reports about it,especially the reports of Kobe's selfishness.Though it seems that Kobe hasn't changed himself much since he came to the league. All right, let's forget about the Lakers.I don't like it,either. In contrast, Celtics is a team I like pretty much.Their performance these several years is excellent, with the terrific teamwork of Pierce,KG,Ray Allen and Rando.I really hope they can win the title of this season.Their defence is fantastic.Though Pierce,KG and Ray Allen are growing older,Rando is becoming maturer and maturer. And the experience of the big three is so precious a treasure they can take advantage of.Besides, their coach is the type of coach I support a lot.The Hawks seems not a big trouble.I believe they can finish the 76ers pretty soon in no more than 6 matches.I am not sure whether they can beat the Heat, but winning the east conference is the thing I hope. Everyone can have his/her favorite team. That's not bias, isn't it?If you can enjoy your favorite team's matches, that'll be fine. The thing I don't want to see is the scold between fans of different groups, which happens a lot. So,friend, hope you can enjoy the Celtics' matches and their fight this season. Also,I hope they can get another champion this time!

I hope the Celtics go to the Finals and win it! I want Paul Pierce,Ray Allen and Kevin Garrett win another championship before they all retire! I am sick of the Lakers and That jerk Kobe winnings alot of the championships lately! Dallas,I am glad they finally won last year! That was long overdue!
