Hi friends:
I have to say this. I think people are unfair with Britney as they are with other people. People love to judge and never forgive your mistakes.
Even here on Mylot people still create discussions on Britney about her "problems" and her fall in disgrace.
Yes it happened back in 2007 but she survived and she went on and overcome all her personal problems and she has succeeded again both as a professional and as a mother.
People don't be so hard judging others. Britney is a human and she makes mistakes. The only difference between her and people like us is that she is a celebrity and there's always at least a paparazzi next to her taking pictures when she made a mistake and makes things even worst.
I won't denied that she had an emotional crisis and that she made big mistakes on her life back in 2007 which means 5 years ago.
Why do people always focus on the mistakes you made and forget about the good things you do and your good efforts?
So, for the people that still live in 2007, this is a short lists of the things that Britney has done with her life after her personal struggles:
2007- The year when she shaved her head and she made a bad performance at the Video Music Awards. Everybody thought her studio album couldn't have success. Blackout, peaked at number one in Canada and the top ten in almost every country it charted and it's considered her best studio album of her whole career. This shows how professional she is because she worked on that album after dealing with a divorce and while she was fighting for her babies custody
February 2008 She guest-starred on the How I Met Your Mother episode "Ten Sessions" as receptionist Abby. She received positive reviews for her performance, as well as bringing the series its highest ratings ever.
September 2008- She won three Video Music Awards for her single 'Piece of Me'
December 2008- In the United States, Spears became the youngest female artist to have five albums debut at number one, earning a place in the Guinness Book of World Records with her album Circus. She also became the only act in the Soundscan era to have four albums debut with 500,000 or more copies sold. Circus became one of the fastest-selling albums of the year, and has sold 4 million copies worldwide.
Spears embarked on The Circus Starring Britney Spears in March 2009. With a gross of U.S. $131.8 million, it became the fifth highest grossing tour of the year.
March 2011: "Hold It Against Me". The single debuted at number-one on the Billboard Hot 100. This gave Spears her fourth number-one single on the chart, and made her only the second artist in history to have two consecutive singles debut at number-one, after Mariah Carey. Her album Femme Fatale's peak in the United States ties Britney with Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson for the third-most number ones among women.
In April 2011, Spears appeared in a remix to the song "S&M" by Rihanna after Rihanna asked her fans via Twitter who they wanted her to collaborate with
Among females in the last thirteen years, Spears now has the third-most top forty hits, with twenty-one.
Many critics noted that Spears sang more of the concert live on her last tour in response to lip-synching accusations during The Circus Starring Britney Spears, and that the dancing is some of her best in years.
During the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards on August 28, 2011, MTV played tribute to Spears with a group of young female dancers that memorialised Britney's music videos, performances, and style. Following which, Spears accepted the MTV Video Vanguard Award from Lady Gaga, who said that "industry wouldn't be the same without [her]".
On December 16, 2011 Spears confirmed her engagement to her long-time boyfriend Jason Trawick, her former manager. She has also regained custody on her children. Now she is a happy woman again.
What's the lesson about this? We should not judge so hard people because we all make mistakes. It's so easy to judge someone. It's better to offer your hand to someone in need. We all deserve a second chance. Redemption is possible.
