i concur with you. a few days you do not feel like having dreamt. Normally we say avoid "day dreaming" -- implying that one is aspiring for unreachable things.
Elderly people - we dream about our children in their present age or decades before. Youngsters dream of their loved ones.
!! opinions differ.

I never dreamed I think sleep is no problem, but to me is a beautiful dream when we sleep if that dream was good but bad if our dreams do not ever tell other people, fear for own backfire.
No dream is an indication of God is also just wrote a flower bed, but do not really believe in our dreams, will long be stressing yourself.

I think that we do have dreams all the time, just that there are times where we remember the dreams and times that we do not. If we remembered every dream that we had it would clutter our minds too much so for the most part I feel we usually often remember only the ones that we are needing to remember that can help us. Just enjoy your sleep when you do not remember them as this could be sleep you're really needing to get.

It is not normal not to dream, and if you are not dreaming then you might have some kind of brain damage. However, there is a difference between not dreaming, and just not being able to remember your dreams. The only way that we would be able to remember one of our dreams is if we woke up in the middle of it, and this doesn't normally happen to most people. I remember my dreams some nights but not others, but I know that I do dream, as every single one of us without brain damage will dream on a nightly basis.

Hi, sometimes I dream sometimes not. I guess it's just normal. Dreams are coming from our subconscious mind, if someone is thinking too about something it may come into a dream but this is not that accurate.

Well, I used to dream a lot of things when I was young. Now, I have dreams that I can remember but there are also times that I do not remember any. Perhaps I was not able to remember simply because I may not have dreams at that time. Either way, I think it is just normal.

I don't think there is any certain normal sleeping habit. Some people dream and some don't. I used to when I was young and I don't now. I was in a car accident in the 80's and wonder if that had something to do with it. No psychotic behavior just no dreams anymore. Ha ha

Well according to sleep studies, the majority of people dream when they sleep at night (or at least they clearly have the dream-patterned brain waves) but it is theorized that a number of people are simply unable to remember their dreams. That's what I think you're experiencing. You may have dreams, but when you wake up in the morning you just can't remember them. I think that's pretty normal. Personally, I do what I can to improve my dream recall, because if I don't remember any dreams in the morning I don't feel rested.

mervyn07 ..I have read that we all dream every night but we don't always remember our dreams. They say one way to check this out is to set your alarm clock for a time you usually are sleeping and the broken sleep may help you to remember what you were dreaming.
Many have also had the experience of incorporating outside sounds ito dreams. Example..when I was little I remember hearing a bell in my dream and waking up it was my mother standing over my bed tapping a glass bottle of medicine with a spoon

It is quite normal when you don't find any dreams in your sleep. Now a days I have a lot of dreams but months before I don't used to see them.

I think dream is just come in because of tired focusing something.
It is what we try to focus or illusion of something gonna happen already happened or just a fake only.
Most of scientists says that love to dream and try to realization it.
Every thing is starts from dream, even become a millionaire too.

Dreams are actually a manifestation of what's going on inside our hearts and minds.
I don't think I usually dream when I sleep too. But for times I do dream, I just can't seem to recall them also in the morning or when I wake up.
Usually when people don't or fail to remember dreams show that they are too stressed or too preoccupied with something else.

normally we get dreams in sleep. But only on a few days/nights we feel we have dreamt.
"The content and purpose of dreams are not definitively understood, though they have been a topic of scientific speculation, as well as a subject of philosophical and religious interest, throughout recorded history."
