i was watching Showbiz Central yesterday when they announce a breaking news about this celebrity couple fighting with a well-respected TV/Radio journalist. The celebrity couple claimed that the journalist fight with them first and the girl even said that she was kicked twice by the journalist. It started because of the journalist heard this celebrity girl berating an employee of an airline because of the missing baggage. The journalist being a defender of people took a photo/video from his phone of this celebrity and the husband see it so they are forcing him to give the phone but the man refused to give so the commotion started. From the interview it appeared that the celebrity couple was the underdog but then a video of their fight was uploaded on Youtube. My goodness, the 65-year old journalist was attacked by more than 2 people and the celebrity girl even joined them and kicking the old man. I was wondering why the security personnel did not do their job quickly to avoid such violence. And what is wrong with this couple? They knew they are celebrity and anything they will do the public will pick up immediately. They should just extend their patience and to think they have their children with them during the incidence. As of press time, the CCTV from the airport was already under the custody of officials to review who really start the fight. What disappointing way to start the week

That news surely made my day yesterday. I couldn't help but laugh, that they would be doing that in front of the public.
And i agree with you, yesterday the couple seemed to be the underdog. But the way the footage was shown, i was shocked to note that Claudine and her entourage helped one another in beating Mon Tulfo. Now, they were sought for a comment they already declined.
But Mon Tulfo said, he is a junior citizen, not senior citizen as you mentioned that he is 65 year old.

haha. His younger brother Erwin Tulfo said he was already 65 and that he is challenging Raymart to a one-on-one fight. The Tulfos are known to be a fighter for woman's right and to people who are helpless and being abused. Claudine, in the video, is like a wild cat! lol. thanks for the response.

Yes Claudine is really rude and i am not surprised by that because they are alraedy similar stories of her behavior and attitude. Maybe they don't know who they are beating up because according to Mr. Tulfo, he's trying to introduce him self when Raymart came in and tried to grab his phone.

Oh! Claudine and Raymart. So it's all over the internet and tv now. They are popular here in the Philippines and I know they are much famous now because of the incident. I've read somewhere that Claudine was cursing one of the staffs because of her missing luggage. Then Mon, the journalist, took a photo/video and that's when Raymart got mad. I don't know if it's true. But what I do know is that, if you are a public figure, you should expect for people and journalist to take a photo or a video of you. That's the journalist's job. Maybe Raymart and Claudine were scared because Mon might expose it to the public and it will put Claudine in a bad light since she was cursing the staff. Oh! It's really disappointing. They are an embarrassment.

you got it right! Claudine has always have this bad reputation and there are similar stories about her cursing a person because of her impatience. But Raymart Santiago is known to be the calm guy so how come he fight with Mom Tulfo who is already 65 years old and like his own father. We cannot really tell until the CCTV comes out. Thanks for the response.

I was kind of shocked with Raymart's actions. He was known as being calm and silent. He turned out to be somewhat a beast now. As for Claudine, I'm disappointed with how she reacted. She should have stopped the two from fighting. But, what did she do? She even punched and kicked Mon. Maybe that's what happens when you are popular and rich. You can twist stories and people will believe you.

The party who first lit fire to the controversy knows before the eyes of the Lord that he did it, must atone for his misdeed by serenely offering an apologetic hand to the other party. They're but humans. If the Lord Jesus could easily forget and forgive HIS crucifiers, Claudine, Raymart and Mon could do it.
To all parties involved, I say fix the trouble before it goes out of control. God and peace be with you. Let's take a moral lesson from this.

Enough is enough. We have more important things to attend to and tackle for the advancement of dear Philippines. Let her shed tears no more. What she really needs are sons and daughters she can be proud of. We need more singers of Jessica Sanchez calibre, of noted Filipino inventors and scientists like Benjamen Almeda, Magdalena Cantoria, others.

shylade:
celbrities -- they are normally rich -- they are normally more famous because they have achieved soemthing unique-- their expectations are high. their patience level is low. In their thinking the entire world listens to them and respects them.
But reality is different -- a music director is respected by rich people and peopel who like music very much. The same person is a non entity for a person who dislikes music and who is worried about his day to day food.
similarly a cricketer is respected by cricklet lovers in crores. But for majority of people who do not know about cricket -- celebrity is a useless person.
Commotions start because of impatience and they cannot be predicted. for this reason only VIPs are given special treatment so that they do not create troubel for common people.

Aunty aunty - I am 62 year old now. Aunty you have some celebrity in your mind when you state ..".I do get sick of celebs who think they are above all the rest of us,not remembering how we got them where they are by playing or acting for us."
Aunty which politician (alive) you like very much?
As for myself I will tell Jayalalitha's name and also include her in the list of politicians I do not like also.
I like her because God is so mericiful towards her --has made crores of Tamil Nadu people elect her again--
not happy because some of her decisions appear to be high handed.

That is the one of the disadvantages of being a celebrity. Everyone wants to make a story or take photos on you. The couple should not have done that since they are public figures. But you know they are humans. They do have bad attitude too. Let your true colors show. LOL!

hahaha....the journalist must have learn a hard lesson after this mayhem resulted in fist fight between him and the celebrity couple, i bet next time he will ask for permission before he took picture of any celebrity without asking. I can understand the anger the couple feel when their picture were taken without permission and the journalist refused to hand over the film, he has no rights to keep the picture if the couple want it back, he is practically asking for the physical retaliation from the couple. But then, nobody can know for sure who actually started the fight, until the video from CCTV is analysed, then only we can know about the truth who is the first attacker that started all these soap opera.....

May be after this beating, every old fox journalist will realize that his old age is not an immunity for him to go around take a snapshot on anyone he feel like doing, he still need to get permission for taking a personal picture/portrait of someone other than himself, if not, he is asking for trouble, if he refuses to give back what's not belong to him in the first place, he run the risk of further agitate the person in his snapshot, then he must be ready for a personal attack.

they should really learn a lesson from it and i don't think it is fair to beat up a man way older than them. they should just let the security talk to the man and i maybe if they had known who is that man they will think more than ten times to even lay a hand on him. Raymart in his latest interview seemed so afraid for his life and his family because of the threats from the Tulfo brothers. It is far from what they acted the other day when they beat Mom Tulfo.

We will never determine who and how it all started unless the airport CCTV will be released uncut (aha- yah, should and must be uncut)
Oh well, for sure this is a good fight between big well-known celebrities and big names in Media industry...

I catch this news at Twitter and had watch the full story in TV this morning. People have different opinions. Maybe they just want to be the trending topic now in Twitter, Facebook and MyLot?
Anyway, I don't know who should I believe, I don't know if it is the Cebu Pacific's fault, or the journalist fault or the couple's fault. Well, we see real behavior of people in public, it is not scripted and they don't have to pretend.

Oh! sad to say that the CCTV was not working... Good there was someone who was able to take a video... I challenge the wife and the husband to trace who this good
Samaritan who was able to take this video... The husband was furious because the journalist took pictures of his wife while his wife was berating the poor ground steward... so go ahead mister actor trace this good Samaritan and get his/her video cam!

Some starlets and celebs think they own the whole world, and they can lie, be completely rude to everyone and rule over everyone... but when they are confonrted and someone tells them that they behave in a really uneducated way, they get all defensive, and first, they right, secondly, they lie about the whole story and make everything look like they are innocent. I despise these kinds of people.

Hello! First of, for me, I'm not quite disappointed about this for I don't really care what these celebrities have been doing with their lives. I hate to admit that I was once a fan of this entertainment industry and I'm glad that I've gotten myself out for that habit. For this is MyLot, I somehow want to share my thoughts about this. Fact: Still, these celebrities are humans. They may look gorgeous and kind in from of the camera, they may have brought you to tears with there drama shows, and signed for an autograph, but you can't deny the fact that they may go on rampage or do stuffs that a decent and typical face of the television wouldn't or shouldn't do... or should I say that "Ideal personality". That doesn't license us to judge them. Yes, I agree that what they did was wrong, especially when it's in front of their kids... but hey, just let them face the consequences of their action and let it be. Good day.

Hi there! Thanks for your response. Celebrities are public figures, they are human yes, i 101% agree. But being a public figure, they let their lives open to public. Yes, Claudine might have heated up because of the lost baggage but is it right to curse a ground employee for that? Both camps have their shortcomings and mistakes but should this end to beating up an old man? They will surely face the consequences of their actions and the public is waiting for that.

Hi shylade!
This is all over the news. So far though, there is only one video being used for the reports they give on TV. But I have seen other videos on FB and YouTube. I hope they get to use them too.
To start with, customers deserve good quality of service and perhaps, Claudine and Raymart did not get such from the airline company. However, before shouting at the poor employee, Claudine should have considered that the ground employee from the other airport is not the same as the ones at NAIA Terminal 3. She should just have asked who among the supervisors or managers she can talk to about her concern.
Second, they are public figures and therefore they should know that eyes are on them. Whether it was Mon Tulfo or someone else who took a video or picture, they should behave well if they do not want bad publicity. Their reputations are on the line so they have to know their limitations.

Exactly, though we really cannot blame the couple to heat up because of the poor service, Claudine should have considered that the employee can do nothing about it so she should talk straight to the higher officials. The thing is she is berating the employee and even threaten the poor employee to be relieved out of her job, which is really mean. So Mon Tulfo came in but he should just have come in between but i think they did not know him that is why they are quite surprise and did not think twice to beat up the old man. thanks for the response.

hi shylade old man? He is 65 and in the prime of life, not old, middle aged. That young celebrity couple complete with kids
did not have any reason to start a fracas and infront of their own children, not a great way to raise children picking on an
older person,he is not old you may be a bit too young to realize that lol. When they kicked him they brought the right to be jailed for assault and battery is what they did.

I don't really know which side to believe since there is no proof to what really happened- the entire thing, the one videod was only the last bit of the fight. Now some witnesses have spoken out, I hope many others would do the same--to shed light on this situation.

I'm sorry but for me the wife is really at fault. She thinks she is above anybody else. I hope the ground attendant of the airline should file oral defamation against her. If her/their baggage was not carried by the plane they took, she should have complained to the proper airline officer and not shout at the ground attendant.

If she only had the patience and calmly talk with the ground employee then this should not happened. She has as far as saying that she would call the Gokongwei to have that lady terminated from his job. But now seeing her like an underdog. They should learn a lesson from this. Thanks for the reply.

I just saw the news earlier tonight. It was a really action-packed video taken at the scene. According to the officer or was it a lawyer, interviewed by the reporter, both sides had their own version of what happened. Both were trying to say they were the victim.
Oh well, I'm sure they know this was going out to the public, and since they went on with what they felt like doing at that time, then they must have already thought of the consequences that lies ahead of them.

it gets worst since the Tulfo Brothers are unstoppable and i think they got angrier because the couple continuously lied about what had happened. they must really face the consequences and i do hope they can settle this the soonest which i think impossible. oh that's life and it just echo what you give. thanks for sharing!
