Is world peace really possible?

I don't believe peace will happen. I do hope the peace will come some day. But I look into reality and I think it's impossible. Humans are good yet they are also really bad. And sometimes, just because afraid of something, people will hurt other.

world peace is what we want but not seeing it . the battle is not flesh and blood it is a spirtuial battle. the who is right and who is not. from the beginning it has always been a battle. wars and rumors of wars. Unless all turn to God it will continue on. It would be nice to have peace everywhere. nothing is impossible unto God and a righteous person and prayer will avail much but God spoke of this as a choice of the people and that is why we should always pray for one another.

Yes I believe that world peace is possible. I agree with you. There are drastic changes that need to be made. And only he can do this. People for centuries have tried different forms of government to put an end to suffering and bring about world peace but to no avail. They just aren't able to do it.

Well, someone said that if in a sudden all of us will wake up one morning and notice that everyone looks the same, lunch time will not be over that we will find disagreements with one another. I think peace is possible only in Heaven!

I believe that world peace is attainable if we start from each person, peace among ourselves, accepting each other's weaknesses. Sounds like a perfect world but we can make this wolrd a less chaotic one. I thinking of an example that suits - the animals and other living organisms in the environment, where some animals dwell, some support each other, others destroy each other, but that is the reality of thier existence, they serve their purpose. But still some continue to coexist and live harmoniously. I think, attaining world peace is a challenge for all of us.

I think for now, the only peace there is , is inner peace. Concentrate on that, and then wel will see if everybody else will find theirs.

ofcourse world peace is very possible.. and it will be if love would reign.. there must be equal opportunity for all and respect to everybody.. above all, if everyone would love his fellowmen.. it must really start from us

World peace cannot happen at the present moment.Its a good scene for people who wants to life with peace but its not possible because some getting their earning from war scene such as armed factory,bigger countries of the world ,gangs and some other factor etc.......

No it is not possible, since if that would already have happened ages ago as there were way less people and more important: way less religions. Most wars are holy wars. Religious people are not able to love all their neighbours or respect them. They feel the need to kill those who don't think or believe the same as they do. There are only less people who will accept the other the way he/she is and are able to respect an other opinion, lifestyle or way of thinking. Seems that the bible says the jews are the promised people, the better ones, so if so for the rest of the us/the world/the people it's useless anyway to believe in god or his rules or the bible/koran (well one of the bibles since they are not even exactly the same).

Yes it is possible in the near future but now it would be hard for us to feel world peace because people have their own opinion and that opinion will lead us to misunderstanding.

World peace is possible when every individual started to change themselves. When we are in road we can't just tolerate someone for some reasons. If this hatred tends to increase in mass and intensity it would produce violence in that place. If everyone of us started to change ourselves it is possible one day to attain peace. GOD has given us with brain to live peacefully and positively. Unfortunately we are using it in the reverse.
