not all good singers become a hit

Yes, i quite agree. The whole packaging really could significantly propel one singer to fame. One aspect is also exposure and the airtime one gets for public hearing, especially endorsement or appearances in television shows, concerts radio shows and even Youtube!

I guess the music industry is always looking for a fresh new face or unique voice or quality. If you look too ordinary or someone's already done what you can do, there's really no point.

A good singer, cannot be denied. I hear what you are saying about them not all becoming the most popular. I really love music; and I do not let popular culture judge my taste or persuade me. Some popular singers definitely deserve their famous status; and some, not so much. I think good singers are always faced with some tough decisions. They are sometimes asked to change their look or do things that may compromise their musical integrity. I have always thought a singer should be true to his or herself, and let their music be the inspiration for artistic expression. A song should have a singers true voice behind it literally and figuratively through single or collaborative efforts. Good singers will always have fans. The question is, "How can a good singer get the fruits of their artistic labor without selling out or being labeled and manufactured to fit for the purpose of being popular?" Having talent does not always make one famous, but it certainly makes one noticed.

There sure are singers out there that they really can't sing. Now about good singers that can't have a good career there are many parameters for one to make a career, talent, social life, managers, lifestyle, songwriters, money, choosing the right artists for the band etc.

I think that there are a lot of reasons that people that have beautiful voices are not always able to make a living with their voice. That, is one of the reasons that I really like the television show "The Voice," because at the beginning the contestants are chosen based on the quality of their voices alone. That said, I think that an important part of becoming a successful entertainer is not just a person's voice, but their appearance and their stage presence as well.

Not all singers become famous and not all singers come from the Television programs.. there are a lot of singers who are waiting in the closets to reveal their talents. good singers stay for a certain period and then they dont keeep it in a stable state.. they get unrated bcoz of a single song . and at this moment normal singers take advantage and prove their talent hard and get hit. its all rotational thing. but i think good singers should maintain themselves in a good position and not loose their fame and being hit.

Yeah, I agree with you on this. I think maybe more than the voice, the person has to have that x factor in them - the one like justin bieber has.. he makes teens and tweens and even adult women go gaga over him. Or lady gaga - where even if she is not as beautiful as other singers, her songs were always a hit... Or Michael Jackson whose talent and uniqueness surpasses all that made him the king of pop. Maybe there is a need for a stroke of luck?

Now a days it is very difficult to get into the hearts of the music lovers. Most of the people expect something different from the usual ones. We can see that most of the people lend their ears to it. A singer becomes popular when he or she has amazing talents in it and it is sure that an amazing or a talented singer will be respected by the world. This is the reason why we have a lot of new singers in the film industry.

Perfect example of that is Allison Iraheta, she is a great singer she was on ideal a few years ago and she has only one cd i know of and i never hear her on the radio but, shes an awsome singer i would love to hear her make more music.
