I personally do not mind if somebody is competing with me when it comes to accomplishing tasks. I even extend patience to those who are obviously are just riding to what you can do, for them to make their works easier. I don't mind not because I'm dumb... nor I allow them to be abusive. I don't because for me what's important is to have done the work more than being recognized for doing it. I just didn't feel good learning that a friend was a victim of a certain credit grabber. He was asked to draw a lot of things about a certain program and out of kindness to share his skills, he did the work. The drawings made were not that simple yet are true works of a creative imagination. It was too disappointing to have noticed a post made by the person who asked for help in a certain social networking site. He used the drawings as designs for an ID, maybe lay-outed or conceptualized by him but not necessarily designed by him. He posted the mentioned ID with the drawings made by my friend and with the label "designed by" followed by his name.... I just wonder how he could do it without even giving courtesy to the one who really did it... If I may quote Indira Gandhi, "there are two kinds of people: those who do the work and those who take the credit."
